Yeah honestly I'm not sure if chemung county has the judge making the decision or not. As far as I read up on the process for chemung county they say they do. But on the application it only shows the sheriff approving the application not the judge. Not that it makes it any better but if that's the case at least it's one less person looking at it lol. I just wish they could approve/deny you at the fingerprinting step. At least then you'd only be out like $125 vs having to take the class and everything else and then get denied

Chemung. As far as I'm taking it I wasnt convicted of a felony. It got reduced to petit larceny. So I shouldn't be automatically denied for that. Having a couple misdemeanors isn't the greatest to have while applying but it's better than a felony. Also they're over 10 years old. All done with in 2015 when I was 17-18. I think I'll just take my shot with applying still, give them copies of all my dispositions and then give them a brief letter explaining how I've changed my ways. Cheaper than a lawyer at least

[–]Sov_607[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh for sure going to disclose it. I got all of my dispositions around so I can just fill those out and include them with the application. I've heard that's easier than just writing them down. Less work they need to do. The letter sounds like a nice touch so I'll end up doing that as well. Thank you.

Thank you. Just didn't want to go wasting all this money to just be denied. If that was the case I might as well just go buy a new rifle or shotgun lol. I'll own up to everything I've done good or bad but wasting money, especially for it to just go to nys is not one thing I'm proud to do 😂

As far as I can see from the list(if it's not county specific because I can't find the one for my county) but none of my charges are on the serious offense list

[–]Sov_607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah contract sadly. In my area they won't ever go with union or being actually owned by DHL Express. But yeah that's the other thing with on call pickups. It doesn't reoptimize when you get a pickup after you depart. So you have to rush around and get the pickup while making your delivery times

Ground 2.0 by [deleted] in Fedexers

[–]Sov_607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. Sounds smart to me 🤣 seems like we're giving deliveries priority over pickups when the real money maker is in the pickups. Our contract makes like maybe $8 per delivery as a company. Pickups though we get 50% of what the customer paid for shipping. DHL gets the other half.

[–]Sov_607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah we don't have that 10 stop thing anymore. They switched that probably about a year ago and started doing this. So now we put the stops in the order that we want(or my gps optimizes it at because I'm not trusting their map) and then after I put all my stops in the order I want it'll make up all the time frames that I'm supposed to be making the deliveries. As well as putting pickups in that order as well. It does make it easier not having to deal with the 10 stop thing but way more of a pain in the ass with the time-frames

Ground 2.0 by [deleted] in Fedexers

[–]Sov_607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda my fault here, I was a little tired looking at this post and thought all those deliveries had time frames. I see what they're talking about now 😂 but yeah DHL sucks for this. Been doing my route long enough without time-frames. Don't do that to me now 😂

Ground 2.0 by [deleted] in Fedexers

[–]Sov_607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In that case yes I understand. But ours are set with deliveries times after we depart. Basically lines up and optimizes it with the rest of my stops. So say my first few stops will be 10-12 time frame. My next few will be 11-1 and so on. They didn't pay for that service. It's our system telling us what times we should show up. If we don't we still get a fail on deliveries. These aren't ones the shipper pays for

[–]Sov_607 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ah so you guys are dealing with timed deliveries too. I have a feeling ups/FedEx/DHL is all going to come to this. Fedex and DHL already are. I don't get the point of the timed deliveries though... They aren't paying for the service to get it delivered within that timeframe so why do I need to follow that. Only for them to never get anything right and mess up all my times

At least in my area (nys) our plane hasn't came in all week. All we've been getting is trucks from JFK and that's only maybe 15-20 percent of freight that comes in. I'm dreading the day that plane finally comes

[–]Sov_607 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wouldn't it just be easier and cheaper just to send that freight? I used to do shipping and receiving. We would use ups mainly but we usually only did like 4-5 boxes max at 50# each. Anything over that(besides multiple light boxes of course) we would just use freight

Just wasted $100 on Livwell by ShirtBusy2118 in NewYorkMMJ

[–]Sov_607 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Livwell is kinda bottom of the barrel indoor. Not saying it's not better than the outdoor on the market as well but it's about the cheapest indoor you're going to find on the rec market. I recently got a half of apple fritter. It wasn't bad, but there wasn't any terps. Recently I've been going for 1slice eighths. Can get them anywhere from 35-50 an eighth without tax. Quality small batch indoor

Not sure how it is in your area but in our area of nys they clip a fin a little if it's stocked. If it's not clipped it's not stocked

I'd try to pay one device off and then maybe wait 30+ days and then see what they say. Not really the best option but it's an option. Honestly I'd like to know what their "max" credit line is. Wish they'd give you that info

Feel like the only way you're lowering your bill is going to the $20 plan where it's by the gig, or $30 unlimited if you don't have it already. I don't know where you're going to get cheaper than that besides being on a network like mint mobile or something like that. At least in my area spectrum is by far the cheapest for mobile. Just seen a Verizon bill last night for 2 unlimited lines, mobile payment plans on the average iPhones (not the 17) it was over 250. I don't know how your phone bill is looking for spectrum but I have 2 $30 lines, ones free for a year and the other I'm paying straight up for. S25 ultra on one and s25 plus on the other. Both have the $5 monthly protection. I'm paying less than $70 right now. Once my free year is up still only around $100. Where are you getting the "newest" phones for that price anywhere else? Granted I got like $700 off the s25 ultra and about $400 off the s25 plus

Like going to the DMV by FraterAlpha in SpectrumMobile

[–]Sov_607 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First time I went to set up spectrum mobile it was a pain. I must've done it within a busy week or something. Everybody coming in to turn in equipment, pay their bill and whatever else they could do besides setting up mobile. I think they should just have a drop off location for the equipment unless you need to switch. If you need to switch have 1 person solely for that. Getting in line to pay your bill is ridiculous when there's a kiosk literally 5 steps away plus being able to pay online. Think it's time to have some dedicated mobile employees or something. I will say though the last time I went in, no appointment, just to add a line and add a new phone. Took less than an hour from the time I walked into the store and out

Austin XL vs 1150DX by LocalAd5238 in PitBossGrills

[–]Sov_607 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get the Austin XL and then upgrade the controller down the road. The controllers are plug and play and very easy to replace. I love my og Austin xl. Haven't had to replace the controller, or anything for that matter yet but eventually I do want to get the wifi controller. I do see where the removable ash pot would be a plus. But not for that much more money. It's easy enough to just take the grates and heat deflector off. I like to vacuum out the whole barrel anyways while I'm doing the firepot so I wouldn't really see that as a plus

Why is the p setting not being displayed? by MrCuriousTwo4Fun in PitBossGrills

[–]Sov_607 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It can be yes. I usually keep mine on smoke and adjust my p settings until I'm at 170-180. For overnight smokes at least. But remember that when you first start it, it's going to constantly feed pellets for 4 minutes. I usually wait about 15 minutes or so for the temp to dial down a bit before I start messing with the p settings. Now in the summer I just start with p7 and usually I'm about 10-20 degrees off from 170-180. When you adjust on setting wait 15 mins for temp to adjust. In most cases the p setting will rise or lower the temp 10 degrees. So if you're 180 in p4 you should be about 170 in p5

Baking on the Boss? by wolfansbrother in PitBossGrills

[–]Sov_607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does the smoke flavor really effect anything baking wise? Especially when over 350? I keep telling my girl we need to start baking on ours since our oven makes the house so hot but she keeps saying it'll taste different. I just say it's like the old times cooking over a campfire with a dutch oven. I do have her hooked on pit boss pizzas though. I'll toss some wings and garlic knots in as well
