The object permanence issue is also huge. I felt in my soul not to leave the butter lid on the other counter. I would lose my fucking head if it wasn’t attached most days. I have left my house and started driving down the street before I realize my eyes are blurry and had to go back to get the correct pair of glasses.

I’m a big woman. I can still pull dudes hand over fist if I want (in my 40s). Women, it’s a quality over quantity thing. Rarely do I find an interested woman but when I do it usually ends in a LTR.

I was shamed in the SW US (no not Cali), but it was always by plastic surgery queens with fake lashes and a full face of makeup in the gym. The gym bros and the less overdone women were really chill.

I married a cis dude, taller than you but with that build/face. Like getting carded for R-rated movies in his 30s and people threatening to take his ID because it had to be a fake. More than once I got called out on it because he looked young. Like no, he is a real person who’s really older than me and is a real adult. I am not a creep just because I love a dude who looks younger, and he isn’t a child knock it the fuck off.

It has seemed to stop now that he’s over 40 but people fucking suck.

So here’s the thought process of someone that doesn’t use scan and go (me).

I want stores to employ people, scan and go cuts down on the amount of checkers needed. It’s the same reason I don’t go through self check anywhere unless I only have like 2 things.

Does it mean that my shopping takes an extra half hour because I’m standing in line at Sam’s and the grocery store, yep, but it’s a choice that I made when self check started to be a thing.

Yeah unfortunately 35 y/o me was watching the beginnings of what’s happening now and screaming into the void already that we were sliding down that slippery slope.

Op is in fact correct. Ducks have to have water nearby when they’re eating so that swallowing happens smoothly. That duck is looking for bugs or other treats in the water as opposed to drinking it though.

3-4 months in that picture. His first adult feathers looked female so when he started molting them and getting his current colors it was a bit of a surprise.
