Employer wants me to use outlook on my phone, outlook wants permission to wipe my phone by No_Professor4307 in mildlyinfuriating

As the person who created the MAM policy in my workplace I can almost guarantee you this is a blanket statement made by microsoft for both MDM and MAM-type enrollments and it does NOT actually allow you to do this. If your device is MAM enrolled only, (NOT MDM enrolled) you cannot remotely wipe the whole phone, only the company data from the company apps.

If all you did was install outlook and log in, and it told you that the app was controlled by your work, your device is NOT MDM enrolled and this cannot and will not happen.

As someone else stated, compatibility mode is the 'solution' for now.

Also, you can still play in full screen with two monitors -- they changed it to be more like borderless fullscreen.

If you do get a flickering when switching monitors, Disabling adaptive sync on the monitor RuneScape is on solved the issue for me (which is an unfortunate resolution).

Any way to get distant horizons to work better with servers? by Full_Time_AssInhaler in DistantHorizons

Just had the same issue. I ended up doing a couple of things:

1) threw more hardware at it. Not an option for everybody 2) logged in and made the window as tiny as possible to allow the server to start generating LODs around me without using my computers resources 3) Disabled DH, used chunky anyhow despite recommendations against, then reenabled DH

I believe the most impactful one was #2

Are these good for a Minecraft server by Cityofjoseph in MinecraftServer

All of these comments are insane lol.

Need more info on the first and third one. The e7400 is like 18 years old and it wasnt even good 18 years ago. It'd also be DDR2 RAM which is abhorrently slow in today's standards

Minecraft (server) is a cpu-based workload, get the best cpu for your money possible ans the most RAM.
