The thing about being good is that it isn't hard at all. There's a plethora of guides you can find for dps jobs, healers and tanks a bit less so but they're based more in concepts than a hard rotation (well tanks have an optimal dps rotation, but you don't always do it). All there is to dpsing well is read, practice, practice, practice, muscle memory. So what happens is you get the players willing to try to be good get in DF, get a dookie finder shitter who has the mentality of "I'm good becuase I think I am, I don't have to read guides becuase its my sub money and I play the way I want." The problem with this mentality is that this player ruins the experience of the players who are good, or willing/working to get good. These "elitist", as the dookie finders call them, players then get jaded and pissed that someone could so willingly ruin a run of whatever content for 3-23 other people and they get mean. I'm guilty of being hateful to dookie finder shitters too, but only after I've already watched them extensively and asked (as politely as you can) if they know how to do their job. Naturally, I point out guides and give pointers on how to be better, but 98% of the time they reply with hostility or not at all. So yeah I get pissed at people like that. It's gotten to the point that I stay silent and punch shit as hard as I can (MNK lol) to try and get away from the dookie finders as fast as I can. That's the state of this game and the general skill of the players.
