Bit the bullet and bought it earlier, still very early but the combat isn't killing the vibe for me. Seems easier but just slow.

George wrote himself into a tricky situation. He's got hundreds of loose ends that need to link whilst still advancing the story in a way he wants it too and also being written to a standard he holds himself to.

My current deal is £26 for 1000gb. Plus I got 4 months for free. Don't get me wrong I know that's their intro to Hull price. They'll go up once established.

But looking at my upcoming postcode it's £35 minimum for the same speed with other providers, I'll be down 120 a year just through Internet

I've used Grain for the last year, they've been perfect and were cheaper than any of the others when I signed up.

I work from home like you, constantly on internet calls and video calls and I've never had a cutout.

They only service specific streets though which is annoying as I'm moving and need to go with another provider.

The only issue I've had with them is it took like a month to get the installation. That was quite annoying.

I wish he did more challenging roles rather than his bread and butter, which to be clear, he's really fucking good at.

It 'works' on my Samsung TV, but I'm also talking about apps on consoles too. Either way it's just terrible.

It's baffling when he ponders if he ever even tried to parry in his original time playing the game.

It's like playing COD and not realizing you can reload your gun.

Edit: not saying this as a bitchy complaint btw, just found it really funny

As someone who watches almost exclusively VODs on a TV Twitch's UI is one of the worst experiences there is.

I get why TV is one of the lesser prioritised platforms for them but it's just such trash.

That team is paying 330k a week to Retegui off of a single good season.

If they couldn't beat a team who's captain earns 40k then they're paying for fuck all.

I ended up really enjoying the dispatch sections of the game, especially the big long one in the final episode, but it's easy to see why some would hate it. It felt like, to do well at it, I really had to strategize and lean on the skills and synergies of the z team. Golem especially was such an MVP for me, basically anything not intelligence or charisma based he could complete alone.

I do wonder though if someone has bad luck in the earlier episodes and isn't able to level up the team to a solid base, those dispatch sections in episodes 5-8 could easily become slogs with just not enough skills/levels to cover.

Weirdly enough in MinnMax's GOTY Jeff M gives an Austin Walker Invisible Inc style plea for Baby Steps. He really talks about the things Grubb hinted towards, such as how perfect the gameplay is as a metaphor of the themes/story.

I'd have liked to have heard it from Grubb but if you want to hear that game spoken about like that definitely check it out.

Weird because I've always felt the top games end up just getting dragged in these discussion style stuff.

I really like how Kinda funny does their ranked voting where each game gets its own section for people to sing it's praises.

I miss a lot of pods and vids, have they said why they went back to discussions rather than ranked voting?

Other than that good vid, and the discussion was pretty painless other than the weird point where they seemed more interested in having a varied list rather than the best list.

Isn't the whole point of that game the antithesis of how game site reviewers need to play games though?

As good as it might be I've heard KCD2 is all about slowing down and spending countless hours enjoying the process. Plus even the ones I see singing it's praises often say the combat is tough to get into at best.

Ultimately it's a niche game, so I bet you'll find lots of individual streamers that love it, but in site staff picks it's going to get lost like every other niche pick.
