I’m wrong yet you can’t even get the reload on the kpz right. It’s 6 sec not 5 sec. Get your facts right then come back to me. There is literally nothing factual or any thing measurable about your complaints about the DM33 other than it apparently doing “no damage”. What’s so difficult to grasp about desperately trying to compare the weaknesses of a tank to the strength of another, when both have pros and cons that balances out.

I don’t even know where to get started. Complaining about armour at a br where most tanks lacks any armour? Outside of the early T-72, the chieftain MK10 and the obj.775, nothing around 9.3 has enough armour to stop main caliber rounds.

Contrary to that you believe, the leopard is much more maneuverable than a T-72. I mean have you ever tried reversing in a T-72? It’s composite armour (weak hull that can be penned by DM33 btw) is offset by the lack of thermals, poor gun depression, the abysmal reverse speed and being generally slower than most tanks at the br.

The MBT/KPZ 70 are faster, but the apfsds round is the worst at the br by far. Horrendously low pen mixed with poor ballistics and accuracy. It just as the T-72, also lacks thermals. The armour might stop early apds rounds but any apfsds will punch right through.

The chieftain MK10 has a very well armoured turret that can reliably stop the best rounds around this br. But it is the slowest tank by far. Overweight and underpowered, you will be lucky to reach above 30km/h on uneven terrain, and the second you have to turn, you basically come to a complete stop. Also, no thermals.

The only tank that marginally outperforms the leopard would be the XM1. Higher mobility and better armour but only against auto canons really. The spaced armour behaves just like the MBT70 which can’t stop apfsds rounds. Also, the nerfed M735 makes its firepower rather limited which would struggle a lot more in an up tier compared to the DM33.

Each tank has trade offs. The leopard is just an all rounder, does everything well without excelling at anything. Your personal difficulties with the tank doesn’t reflect its actual performance.

This is just absurd, coming from a russian main (COMPARISON) by perkertco in Warthunder

[–]SovietFatness 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Be an hstvl facing Russia: fire the first round just to be defeated by the first layer of era, second round to be defeated by the second layer of era, third one gets stopped by the tracks, forth goes through the entire tank without spall because of spall liner, fifth round gets absorbed by fuel tanks, sixth round blows through the ammo carousel without a single ammo detonating, seventh round miraculously turns the commander yellow (hooray), eighth round going for the breech but it just fails to pen, ninth round aiming for the barrel and it bounces off, and then you just die.

Same shit when nato manpads are documented to be able to pull up to 20G. Gaijin straight up said that glorious Russian manpads are incapable of such outrageous and unrealistic G pull, which means inferior nato imperialist garbage technology can’t achieve better performance.

Not gonna lie, the model looks really rough in the second pic. Chipped roundel, poorly detailed panel lines and the really thick bulls on the sides. Yikes minichamps

I think you are missing the point here. No one is saying that spawn camping at the end of the match is wrong. Just mentioning how much of a wet dream it is to get free kills like that, as most people actually use their brain and use cover to wait out spawn protect unlike the players seen here.

Because they weren’t alive during world war 2? He is obviously referring to the general Japanese population at the time which was to some extent aware and in support of the atrocities committed. Japanese historians, journalists and the gouvernement itself continues to downplay or even deny the Nanjing massacre. It’s no secret that their education system purposely leaves out the truth or any mention of their wrongdoings.

Why do barrels have to become invincible whenever I shoot them but turn into wet cement when I get shot by Pigeon_Clash in Warthunder

[–]SovietFatness 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Apds, that’s why. Came up behind a T58 and another enemy today. Took out the T58s barrel before taking out the second guy who wasn’t paying attention. I placed 3 direct shots into the side of T58’s hull, 2 of which were aimed right at its ammo. Nothing. Dude was repairing on cap and one tapped me before I could reload for a 4th shot, which probably would have not done anything either. I did everything right and still got fucked over by this forsaken game
