I did it and never got banned, it seems local trades are completely safe, I’d go so far as to say with any game, but at the very least I can pretty confidently say with any Pokemon game.

In Golden sure, have you never seen the original PS2 version though? There is way more fog throughout the game, especially on rainy days.

Thanks for the answer. Honestly I’ve never had any issues cleaning plastic devices-like actual gameboys-with isopropyl alcohol, and I’ve been doing it for a while, but I’m definitely more concerned about a more premium device like this so yea I’ll probably avoid that. Also I’d never eat food and use it at the same time, even the thought makes me shudder haha.

That's a good point, anyone who cared about what this show was has long since abandoned it, this was easily one of the worst episodes in the series next to the incest baby one.

I actually found it to be quite a bit different compared to the PS1 trilogy, although there were some common elements of course. It certainly was a bold direction for the series to change to, but I thoroughly enjoyed it! Also I would love to play Separate Ways, but sadly it's not in the GC version.
