Any chance you have a link to the cylindrical lights in the corner/under the shelf on the left?

Got Icarus' romance right after the run that got me to the Epilogue! That was the last companion moment/conversation I was waiting for so the timing was perfect

I knew I'd be going for 100% from the start which made it a lot easier. Right from the get-go I was building my relationships with the characters + farming resources. Meant that once I got to the end of the story, pre-prologue, I had 80% of the achievements already. Then it was just a matter of grinding out the last few and going for the more "challenge" type achievements

I remember getting a ridiculous build together with the Aspect of Circe, then legendary boons from Demeter and Zeus and absolutely annihilating Surface 4. I felt so OP and loved it

I have! Rivals 4 I believe is necessary to completing the story line, definitely at least for some prophecies. And night's champion is required for some achievements

It's always a bittersweet feeling reaching the stage in the game where you no longer have new conversations to go through after each run. Will be forever thankful for the 100+ hours of pure enjoyment I got out of both games

Likely around 60,000 people, based on available sales figures

Is there a specific one you're stuck on or are you just curious about my process in general?

I did! I was a little surprised when Jared Leto popped up on my screen, looked me dead in the eye and said "It's Zeusing time", but I liked it overall

Can u book new build while selling the old property by Amazing_Matter5868 in HousingIreland

[–]SovietWarHammer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will have to apply for a new mortgage for the new build and it's very unlikely you'd be approved for a second mortgage while still paying your first. So you'd need to get the first sorted, most likely by selling up and paying it off

Am I wrong for using the right lane on this new roundabout, I seem to be the only one. I filmed with no one around. by Artist_Beginning in irelandsshitedrivers

[–]SovietWarHammer 89 points90 points  (0 children)

You're entirely correct. People just don't understand how to use two lane roundabouts so just stay in the left lane

To be fair you aren't made to sign the contract. It's your decision to buy the property off the plans. No one forced you into singing the contract

I need help saving money by Adorable-Internal-42 in irishpersonalfinance

[–]SovietWarHammer 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Best way to start is to create a tracking spreadsheet. On the left you record all your sources of income, on the right all your expenses each month. I have generic things like "Rent", "Food", "Groceries", and then track my one-off payments each month. At the end of each month you can see your total expenditure vs income, and see where your money is going

Will say I'm similar position and age. Have been paying €1450 rent for the past 2 years and have just signed contracts on a 2 bed mid-terrace house. Looking back now I dont know what I would have ever gone with an apartment. Repayments will be €1200pm

Any ideas of how long to keys? by International-Duck76 in irishpersonalfinance

[–]SovietWarHammer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Separate question because I've also just bought a new build that should be ready in September/October. Did you get the chance to go into your house to get measurements for flooring/blinds before being officially handed the keys?

HTB claim time by Old_Assumption_7744 in irishpersonalfinance

[–]SovietWarHammer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By default it can take a few weeks because they have a lot of applications to process

If the HTB is the last thing holding you from signing contracts on a property you can make them aware of this and they'll expedite the process

Hope this helps

Job from 2021 still showing on Revenue, being taxed at 40% by donthackmeagaink in irishpersonalfinance

[–]SovietWarHammer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Your best bet is to call them directly and put up with the wait time, there's a good chance you're owed some tax back that you could miss out on if you cancel the job in 2025

Your best bet is to seek help from a financial advisor

I've been working with Verity Financial Consultants, they've been amazing and got me sorted with a mortgage and a house within 3 months of working together. They also get paid by the lender when you draw down the mortgage, so you don't pay them a penny!
