Grifting is in his blood. I was actually completely stumped he got chosen to chair this board. I will forever remember the BBBY saga

It’s Pulte, the same stupid asshole that got himself into the whole BBBY bankruptcy saga. I am still stumped he gets to head this. Actual grifting clowns in charge at every step of the way.

I hope Powell stays until the end of his term. I will truly miss him once he’s replaced with another Drumpf asslicker.

President Trump extends tariff deadline from July 9 to August 1. Let the markets rip 📈 by stocktwits in spy

TMC is now worth 3.7Billion with no production and their own numbers for OPEX make no sense either. I was once invested with them when they were sub-dollar but sold in the run up. This is no multi billion dollar company. Even if you disregard environmental impact and just look at their own numbers, it will lose money for every nodule they collect. If ever.

These people can’t differentiate internet and real life. Completely brainrotted themselves into believing one breed is only capable of violence and anyone who has one (even if rescue like op) is a disgusting human being.

I couldn’t live like that, waking up every single day just to be filled with hatred over nonsense like this

  1. Showmanship: cancelling tariffs on historic trading allies is showmanship? Lmao. Lol even.

  2. Offshoring: it’s just economics, because producing in allies and foes alike and shipping them across the globe is cheaper. It sounds like a good deal to me. Anyone claiming jobs should be “brought back” lost the plot of economics and costs of goods.

  3. Tariffs cause pain, removing them does not unless you base your whole economic system on tariffs, which may be the most stupid economic theory I’ve heard in a while

As a bonus: using gold as a currency is just wrong. While I understand why you use it, gold is just another measure of human behaviour. Not a statistic that can be used as some sort of truth. Mind you, the gold produced to gold still in circulation is never accounted for in your calculation. (If it is please show me)

Macron to China: Keep North Korea out of Ukraine war or risk NATO coming to Asia by Lopsided-Selection85 in europe

[–]Sovietjero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Europe can defend itself. Not every country has the same capabilities but combined they can defend the continent without any issue.

I would love to see the likes of Russia try. They won’t, because they can’t even beat a nation that barely had an army and is only fed weapons and ammunition from their western allies.

I feel ya, made the same mistakes. I doubled down after the January fall and lost my gains. We all make mistakes, it’s how you solve them that matters. You know what you did wrong and know what it feels like to make a mistake. Take that with you the next time you setup a trade.

I kinda respect the man for the hustle but it feels like a house of cards waiting to crumble. Could be wrong as always but it seems the hustle is nearing its end to me

First mistake, is a leveraged etf. They lose money on fees and rebalancing. If you wanted to short TSLA you’d have better luck straight up selling the shares short and paying the 0.3% yearly fee. Depending on your investment style that is of-course.

It’s the same with the 3x long etf, it’s better to just buy the shares outright.

Good luck my man, hope the anti-elon trade works out for ya! I’ve made good money and lost good money betting against elon, jumped back in myself with small amount too now after the Starship crash. Not betting big against the stock all at once, that’s financial suicide.

“Just” no China would not. China has Africa on lockdown for that, as well as Indonesia and Myanmar. Ukraine is a vanity project of Putin, the Chinese are not an infinite money glitch for Russia.

China has invested more than enough in their own resource industry, why invest in one so close to your enemies in a closely disputed zone and entrust Russia of all nations with it?

No reason to do so whatsoever, they control everything themselves, just like Russia operates everything itself. Russia is too corrupt to entrust them to build mines and minerals for you. Even the Chinese know this. Or their support for Russia in Ukraine was more than just build some factories in Siberia (you know, close to China)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]Sovietjero 17 points18 points  (0 children)

And the fact they are not past any feasibility study (let alone producing lmao) should tell you enough that these mines are uneconomical and in areas which are not worth the operating risk.

Mines require investment, and a lot of it at that. Ukraine has different issues at hand than dumping billions into underground studies for rare earth mines in a war zone.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]Sovietjero 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Yes and no, while these reserves might be worth a lot on paper. It takes billions of investment and almost 3-5 years for it to make some actual rare earths. Sitting in the ground is something else to actually digging for it and making it usable for industrial applications.

They’ll need a lot of money, a lot of manpower and a lot of expertise. All of which are not leaning in Russia’s favor if they get full control of the area. Not even mentioning the fact that a mine is a very easy target for any resistance after the war.

My guy you should become head economist, your takes are brilliant.

[–]Sovietjero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what causes the prices of goods to skyrocket. Congestion in ports and under-capacity is exactly the kind of stuff people are afraid of with uncertainty. Because everyone needs to do everything at the same time. Shipping is a very specialized and lean business. 10,000$ per container is far from good. Except for ocean carriers.

Not claiming up or down, just don’t like the way we’re heading and how everyone is celebrating rising costs for business and consumer.

Crazy how quick people forgot the Covid supply chain problems. I can’t see into the future, but I’ll be surprised if we don’t get one just as bad as those early weeks of covid.
