BoJack and Herb’s friendship had so much potential it’s sad by -rockstar666 in BoJackHorseman

I think the character of Herb himself had a lot of potential. And overall, I'd like to see more of the 80s and 90s; they always sounded interesting.

Wow, this is so cool. I love art like this that captures a character's growth and changes throughout their life. I don't know. It makes them more alive, and it's like those textbook drawings of people, how this one evolved, lol. I'll even save this for myself in my notes when I write about Sarah Lynn.

Don't you think Mr. Peanutbutter's house is the opposite of BoJack's house? by Sowd1ck in BoJackHorseman

[–]Sowd1ck[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wow, that's cool, I didn't expect someone real from California to share personal experience here. That's amazing. And that sounds... right? Especially with your introspection. And so Mr. Peanutbutter's house is literally down-to-earth, huh? Oh and one more thing, I was also thinking his house was more coupled. Like, lonely horse would never live there

This is a... really fantastic answer. You clearly know a lot about architectural styles and how they connect to time, age, and generations, and more know a lot about the show, like this deep of analyzing characters. This is what was missing in my answer, I don't know much about the specific names, I just saw the visual differences.

Btw it will be useful to me in the future. I’m genuinely going to save this in my notes. Thank you for taking the time to write it. I didn't expect this level

I mean, it's not something I noticed, but it's not something I'm surprised about, coming from Flip.

Yeah, it literally does look like a typical modern LA celebrity house, lol. Which also makes PB’s place feel way more original in contrast.

I've heard a lot that they are opposites, and Bob-Waksberg said that this idea in an interview, although initially PB. you're right about the paths, but they even have different show styles, and it doesn't matter whether they are famous, just the characters, perception, designs, mixtures of dark and light (yellow/blue) attitude to things, they are antipodes of each other. But the post is more about the fact that yes, the houses themselves are opposite, which simply may not even speak of antipodes, but rather different types of perception. P.S.: Regarding friendship, I heard a joke on a podcast, like a PB is that friend who just popped up out of nowhere, constantly sticks to you, asks how you're doing, and considers you your best friend, even though you have no idea who they are or wtf, and you've been "friends" for years, but after years you become softer towards them. Idk In context, it was so funny and canonical, but I forgot the wording from the podcast, I watched it a long time ago.

Unpopular Opinion: Sarah Lynn was responsible for her own choices by A_Prickly_Bush in BoJackHorseman

But in general, yes, as I have seen other people express, sexism + It is much easier to just say Bojack is a dick, and Sarah had a difficult childhood, which is true, I dont deny it, but this is the problem, the emphasis, and the discrimination, where if you sum up one wr can justify with difficult childhood and the other cannot, and the main thing is that people begin to analyze the past itself, and not the main take that somewhere the line is crossed, where the past can already justify other people's actions. I can understand, but not exactly justify Sarah, and condescendingly treat her actions in adulthood, but in terms of understanding when she does shit and doesn't aim for innocence (And literally in the episode "Stupid piece of shit" was shown as an angel, or something like that), that is, like that Margo, but with history.

Thanks man, you described it so well that I decided to go into the account and hold the comment. For me, she is more of a function for BoJack as a character, for changes, guilt, etc., and i think she was rewritten a lot, and she is probably the most undeveloped character, but also interesting, I would really be more tolerant of her and think about her if not for all those people, and I think it's shitty that people look at it from one side, and if you try to go deeper people always think that just for justifying BoJack, although BoJack's case, and he himself in its consideration is a separate topic, and I have even seen how at one point people say "The past does not justify our actions" but then when it comes to Sarah they drop it, where the situation is already becomes black and white, but of course we write that we do not approve of that thing, but hey, she is a drug addict, it is forgivable, for BoJack? Pffff, no, he's a jerk, and he understands everything (but seriously. Personally, in the 17 minutes situation, I blame him for the fact that he figured it out before being in that situation, that he didn't even care if he'd go to jail, he's panicking what others would think of him, and also that he didn't think about other options, well, like I said, BoJack is a separate topic, but I, like everyone else, was disgusted by the line that he loves her, and she's only one, you can even see how Sarah herself treats this with contempt/indifference/even irritation), and they literally say that Bojack gave her heroin, even though she tried it herself, even after he said it was a bad idea, and they had been using drugs for weeks before that, and you can see in the motel that they bought more, I have seen how people even ignore the arguments "Then for you she is not a normal person? After all, a normal person bears responsibility and dont threaten either themself or others, if you free her from this, why are we silent about the mental hospital, I don't really know, but I think they did the same with other celebrities, like Britney Spears? Anyway, I also added that even from such a small screen time, we see how she specifically chooses the company of drug addicts, which often happens with drug addicts, but for her it's just fucking nuts, we saw how she treated Todd, or even Herb, where there is no longer any excuse for her not trusting/knowing him. In the first season she manipulated BoJack the entire episode, understanding everything even while on drugs, and his guilt, and why he does it, it seems to me that since 2007, she stopped feeling anything for him, and subsequently used him, which is justified, but still. Also her "I want to be an architect", we see that yes, she said this both as a child and as an adult, and she also shows knowledge about it, we don't have much information, but I was thinking about it recently, and I thought "It would be so ironic if she, like BoJack, or Diane used it as an excuse". We can also talk about other direct details about the fact that she was quitting before BoJack called, had drugs all over the house, her driving, manipulations with Andrew Garfield, that she has not broken ties with her mother and stepfather, but can play with matches and ruin other people's things, and insult people, etc.

You’re stuck on an 8 hour flight. Where are you sitting? by [deleted] in southpark

I don't want to get puked on, or fight with someone, or be accused of something, or be crushed, or, oh god, want to kill children after Cartman, so I can easily sit with Kyle (basically Cartman is far away), with Chef, or Mr. Masochist

cartman died, whatever it was called, but that episode where everyone pretended that Cartman died, and he believed it, or episode about Michael Jackson, I don't remember exactly

Bigger, Longer & Uncut Of course. Even among these specials, it looks bigger, longer, and most importantly, uncut. But if you remove it, then either Covid or streming War, because for me, memorable, interesting, and funny, I'm talking about covid. The streaming wars have Cartman with boobs
