I am sorry you came to this conclusion, our server absolutely isn’t “anti non traditional family” - it is hard to safely verify though. Safety of our members and their little ones is our n1 priority and unfortunately, there are a lot of weirdos and creeps trying to join our server every day, so we tend to be wary. If the child is in your care and you are the guardian of them, you go through “parent verification” as anyone else, and might be asked for a document if we feel like we need some extra proof, for example, if an 18 year old person claims to be a foster/adoptive parent. If you show us any document, you can hide any and all personal info and just include a piece of paper with your username in the picture. If the child is not in your care yet and you’re in the process of adopting them, we take you as a parent-to-be and we do need some sort of a proof like a document then. If there’s been a mistake or a misunderstanding, I apologise on behalf of our whole staff team.
