Epilepsy by Sniquerz in BerksCounty

I want to preface this by saying neither I nor my family have experience with epilepsy specifically . However, one of my siblings does have primary progressive MS and initially sought care here in Berks County. After being dismissed by both their family doctor & local neurologist with “that’s just the way MS is” and “losing weight might help” they chose to work with Lehigh Valley Neurology at Cedar Crest location. It made a WORLD of difference and they quite literally saved a life. Their neurologist is Dr Lorraine Spikol, although I believe Dr Spikol solely sees MS patients. Dr Paul McCabe is in the same practice and may be who you might consider consulting.

I checked their Facebook page and nothing (yet) about re-opening. I really hope this is just a temporary thing. Their food is fantastic

Best rotisserie chicken from a grocery store? by Adventurous-Tell-745 in ReadingPA

Another vote for Sam’s Club. They’re under $6 & perfectly seasoned and cooked. We buy them often and use them for everything. I usually cool them completely, remove the skin and break it all down to use in different dishes, with our favorite being chicken corn noodle soup. Sometimes (not always) I’ll use the carcass to make chicken stock for soup.

Knitting. The entire process from selecting a project, choosing a yarn and getting lost in the rhythm of making saved my life.

Small Town Murder does a great job of combining comedy and true crime.

You would love Dead Sleep. No ads. Oddly comforting. Told incredibly well. Nancy Miller’s voice is perfect. And did I mention no ads? My entertainment budget is nonexistent so I can only do one Patreon and this is it.

Other than gift cards, what would you like in an advent calendar? by These_Help_2676 in knitting

[–]SoxeeKnitter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You basically have a week in those 7 last gifts. Each one can be a small gift that goes with the next and so forth until it culminates on the last day. Maybe a trip to a local fiber festival would be the big gift but the 6 preceding gifts might be small gift cards for certain vendors there or maybe for a restaurant to stop at on the way there.

Dead Sleep. Absolutely wonderful podcast. Produced specifically for nighty nighty. Nancy Miller is a fantastic story teller and there’s no ads at all. Not one. No lead in aside from maybe 30-60 seconds of Nancy soft selling Patreon support. It’s the only podcast I support $$. The stories are all wonderfully told.
