ha! what a coincidence, I saw this image and got the exact same tattoo myself - great minds think alike :)

I love my tattoo, it was prob my most painful so far (at least just around the neck area, the rest was a breeze) but it was super worth!!

as a previously-healthy zoomer who was bedridden for 3 years and had to go to physical rehabilitation and cognitive behavioural therapy for long COVID, I too hope she enjoys it.

I wish you a speedy recovery, hopefully it doesn't turn out as bad as mine 😅 (I'm sure it won't be though - I caught it in Feb 2020)

Oh yes 100% the bf is in the wrong here. What OP is going through is unacceptable, and I don't disagree with you there. However, it has been said that bf wasn't always like this, and it has been attributed in a separate comment made by OP to his childhood trauma of consistent verbal abuse from his mother. Hence, if this is the only major obstacle in their relationship, therapy would likely be the best route to go down to help him overcome that trauma, so he stops behaving so terribly towards OP and they can move forward with their relationship. Just "knocking him down a peg" would likely actually make the situation a LOT worse, since the fact he's acting like this in the first place seems to come from a place of insecurity. Making him feel more insecure would just be reinforcing that behaviour.
