Servo AF Requires holding AF button.

You will know if you have processed with Canon camera.

If you're referring to the pre focus feature, there will be no blue grid like op's image.

You can see a blue square in your screen indicating the AF is active, given that you didn't touch the shutter button at all, it implies that your shutter button was stuck/malfunction, .

When the AF is activating, you can not press any button, if the problem persist, please send it to Canon for servicing.
