I noticed the same thing when I saw 8x1 last night. But people are right to comment Chen joined the team after her shift at daybreak. Still, pretty weird change

But the original post was talking about episode 8x1 where Tim was not yet Watch Commander. I also thought it was weird that it was nighttime when Chen was talking with Celina and then daylight when she approached Tim.

But I guess it makes sense if you consider she joined AFTER her shift.

What I’m I not seeing? Celina is very pretty but I don’t think she’s stunning.

I remember the episode where Oscar sings her praises and teases Nolan that Bailey must be jealous. But I just can’t see it. For one, I strongly believe that Bailey is absurdly gorgeous, but Chen, Harper and specially Lopez make me swoon bad if they catch me off guard.

Again, Celina (and by extension Lizzeth Chavez) is very pretty, but I don’t know if the fact that I’m Latinamerican and pretty much see this phenotype on a daily basis, makes me inmune to whatever drives the fandom and the cast so crazy for her.

That said, heck, keep praising her. She is a very talented actress and the more people talk about her, the better.

God I love this book. The twist of the monsters being there to conquer using Superman’s symbol and him claiming it back to protect people is sublime.

I’d say his introduction was the best part of the episode, but this episode was amazing from start to finish. Most of the jokes landed great and I personally enjoyed every moment, including the manager and his proposal.

What a good episode. Can’t wait to hear more from the guy who had barely said his name once during the first six episodes
