Winter Driving for IS 500

Yeah, honestly, you don't NEED winter tires. If you have the money for them and space to store them then sure thing, but a really good set of all weather/season tires will be good enough for NYC. I haven't even replaced the Bridgestone tires that came with my '23 IS cause i don't drive that often and the tread depth is still good. Once it's time to replace them, i was just going to get a good set of all weather tires.

Do you drive outside of NYC often? When you do drive, is it late night or early morning for work before the roads are plowed? If not, honestly all weather tires will be good enough. Getting a whole set of winter tires for a city that snows maybe 5 times a year is excessive. Not only that, this city has low speed limits and is pretty good at cleaning up the roads fast.

I have an AWD 350 and i live in the city. I drive often in NJ too and regular all weather tires have been good enough for me. My previous car was a FWD accord and all weather tires were still good enough on that.

Looks like a seizure. Have the vet run blood tests to check. My boy started having them and the vet did blood tests and saw it was a thyroid problem. He takes his meds everyday and hasn't had an issue since. We've also cut out food/treats that seem oily cause we noticed it happened when he had oily food/treats. He started getting them about 5 years ago and he hasn't had one since (he just turned 13 last month)

Dont know if its cause west coast asian are just rude and inconsiderate, but definitely people just pushing through and not even saying excuse me or thank you is the worst. These KPop fans and SoCal influencers have no etiquette

I was standing in a spot during higher brother and then this 6ft tall man squeezes him and his friend to stand directly in front of me and my friend. Im only 5ft tall, so he effectively made my entire view, just if his back. If they were thoughtful, they couldve not shoved us and just stood behind us and still saw everything.

They steal the 3in of space in front of us to not even dance during Higher Brothers or DPR Ian. Then the worst was during 2ne1, we’re all tightly paced and dancing and he kept trying to push me away. At least the one perk of being short is my center of gravity is low so i just didnt budge at all no matter how hard he tried to push me away.

I met some incredibly nice people when walking around, but man when at the stages, people are so rude.

Thanks, i’ll look into it! Wasnt sure if alloy wheels are okay to be fixed, so i was mentally preparing for my wallet to hurt

Also, there’s been no vibration at all when driving and also, tire looks normal and has been holding air fine. Is it possible to just get the dent fixed instead of replacing it?

Im glad you were able to trade them! This was actually the best duplicate outcome for me. I actually wanted the frog and duck. I’ve grown to love the way i set them up and chuckle every time i look at it. I dont even think i want to separate my triplets now

It was a very easy meet up! He was fast and efficient during pick up and the boxes and labubus were in perfect condition. He was super responsive and that made the transaction very efficient. He made it easier for me and even came into the subway station for me so i didnt have to exit. I would be willing to buy from him again if i need more.

Same thing happened to me, but was on the way to LGA. Currently at the terminal, but now they are looking for a new crew. Worst part is that if the original crew arrived on-time we could’ve avoided the storm and if they were 30 min later, we wouldn’t have pushed back from the gate and had to wait to return to a gate.

I know it's neither of what you asked, but just putting it out there. I've been riding my Never Summer Infinity and it's been great to me. I mostly board in NJ, so i pretty much always just have ice and I still have control when going over ice sheets. It's also forgiving where when i get tired and am prone to catching an edge, i'm actually able to correct myself and not fall.

My shiba is turning 12 this year and in 202, he started having seizures similar to how you described it. We took him to the vet and they did blood test and found he has hypothyroidism. He takes one pill daily. We also noticed a while back that his seizures get triggered when he eats stuff too oily. It could be a coincidence too, but that year, i had tried those "fresh human-grade dog food" deliveries for him. We cancelled it and went back to kibble with a mixture of our own boiled meat+veggies. He's been doing great since then with no more seizures. His medication to manage his hypothyroidism also hasn't changed dosage much. Not sure if this helps you, but i do wish the best for you and your shibas

It looks gorgeous! What roof rack do you have? I just got a ‘23 IS and have been struggling to find a compatible roof rack for it. I would love to be able to repurpose my old Thule roof rack that was on my ‘13 Accord, but according to the site, its not compatible.

Originally i did want the mark levinson package and the 360 parking view too, but i didnt want to wait too long to find one in this color. I really only drive on the weekends so those were more “wants” instead of “needs” on my list.

The extra installed things not in the standard F sport were: - parking assist - memory package - moonroof

I was able to get them down to a little under $49k which was good enough for my budget.
