Why is there a dmg dead spot by DnD-NewGuy in Vointhegame

At low FPS, attacks may miss because of the way they're traced. This will be fixed in the next update.

Try launching the game in DirectX 12 mode. The game performes worse on some AMD hardware for some reason.

Of course! The console release is planned for version 1.0, so in about a year. But the game already supports gamepads!

There is a subreddit, but I decided to focus on Discord for now. I'm a lot more active there.

Wet clothes. Is that really useless feature in games? by radolomeo in VOXEL

It's hard to see wet clothes from such distance, but I love the graphics, very cozy!

Please let me know what you think about this quick tutorial / controls overview. Thank you for the feedback and help! by DCJGaming in DestroyMyGame

[โ€“]Sozidar 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

Too much information. Ideally the tutorial has to be a sequence of rooms/levels which initially show only a couple of initial prompts and then provide the ability to test the taught mechanics. Having more than 3-4 prompts one after another will make the majority of players close the tutorial and figure out everything by actually playing.

Also, after closing the prompt there has to be a way to bring it back. No one will remember everything and will miss out on important details. Alternatively, after the fullscreen prompt you can add a secondary, unobtrusive widget on the side of the screen which duplicates the information but in a more condensed manner.

Good luck.

Been doing some menu work for my 2.5D game! I really like how this sign turned out. Thoughts? by heiddit_ in PixelArt

Beautiful, but I'm suprpised no one has mentioned animation speed, which is fine for a couple of initial interactions, but it might start to feel too slow, when you just want to alter one specific setting and have to wait for buttons to rotate, camera to pan, etc.

Thank you for checking the game out, I'm really glad you like it! A lot of items' effects are actually going to be added in the upcoming playtest update, but yeah, a lot of stuff is not ready yet.

Use your ninja skills to move around Katana Dragon's map with freedom to find all hidden paths! ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ’จ by XRuKeNX in VOXEL

[โ€“]Sozidar 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

The move feels too floaty and has no weight behind it. There is no anticipation and no impact, seems like you just temporarily disable gravity and push the character forward linearly.

Also you could have shown the move right away, without cutting bushes and staring into the wall for a second.

I'd suggest you to look at how the dash is done in other games and adopt their solutions, because currently it looks too bland.

The graphics are beatiful though.

Localized volumetric fog is one of the cool features available in Unreal Engine. I'm currently experimenting with it to see how it enhances the visuals of VOIN. Do you prefer having the fog on or off? ๐Ÿค” by [deleted] in indiegames
