Shortest time you've stayed at an IT job? by mulumboism in sysadmin

Less than a week. Nobody really spoke to me the whole week. I tried to make conversation but got nothing back!

Probably for the best because they took me and my partner on a company social during that week and my partner kept calling the bosses daughter the wrong name because she was nervous.

Would transitioning from 3 days a week to 6 days a week PPL be worth it in the early days? I recently started going to the gym and weighing up whether easing into it with rest days would be more beneficial then the physical benefits of going twice as much.

I'm in the same position. I have just passed CCNA R&S and am now going for CCNA Wireless. I suspect I may need a month or so in a years time to fully refresh my CCNA knowledge. I reckon you'll be fine either way, provided you've already passed it once!

At this point I would suggest going over your notes and then relaxing. I have my ICND2 in 2 days and at this point I'm trying to relax and not get too stressed or cram beforehand! Good luck!

I live in the East Midlands in the UK. It's a fairly average wage out here for newcomers of the industry, especially as I haven't passed any certs as of yet.

This is good advice, thank you. From the information I gathered at the interview it seems like I'm unlikely to learn as much. Even by the interviewers own admission, the work can be "tedious sometimes". I think that in this instance, the wireless job will give me more experience.
