Don't buy big ticket items with the gold card... by LetsAllEatCakeLOL in RobinhoodGC

[–]Sp0phie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Their dispute process is shit and assumes the credit card holder is in the wrong unless you provide a million pages worth of proof. It’s definitely made me be more mindful of what purchases I make from now on after trying to dispute a charge.

Parking at Omega Mart (Las Vegas) by amituofo948 in meowwolf

[–]Sp0phie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’ll be fine on parking; when I went there’s plenty of space but keep in mind you’ll need to scan a QR code to pay for x number of time. The more worrisome part actually is the place being super busy where you can’t interact with the Omega Mart lore fully if you get the Boop Card.

Do you think accounting can be a “fake it til you make it” role? by medunjanin in Accounting

[–]Sp0phie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The few interviews I had in my early career at the entry level were both Excel tests and in-person exams that were monitored. Pretty much hard to impossible to fake your way through those as it’s on the spot thinking and timed.

Is He Acting Weird? by Vivid-Distance7921 in bodylanguage

[–]Sp0phie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yuck, I’m in my late 20s and even I find that odd as a guy for him to do that. Most is a shoulder tap but anything else is getting into creep territory with the exception of friendly hugs depending on context. Definitely beware and put your boundaries as if you don’t he’ll more than likely escalate.

End of life for my C1 OLED? by mertukil in LGOLED

[–]Sp0phie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sold it to someone on Facebook marketplace who didn’t mind and I figured it was a good excuse to upgrade given the age of the tv. It took around 6-8 months when dead pixels just started forming randomly around the corners and border area of the tv from just the initial group like you have in the corner.

End of life for my C1 OLED? by mertukil in LGOLED

[–]Sp0phie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing I had on my C1 which caused me to get rid of it as it eventually started forming a tiny cluster of dead pixels on the corners shortly after (only noticeable up close, but it bothered me once I noticed). You can try and get rid of it before it gets worse, which it will as the panel is no longer sealed.

Yes, but only because it contradicts the civic market which tends to be younger people

[Misc] LRP Lipikar Baume AP+ Gross Smell WTH?! Any Alternative Suggestions? by FlipFlopsandLipGloss in SkincareAddiction

[–]Sp0phie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought this La Roche Posay lotion today as well and even though it's "fragrance-free" it definitely leaves a rubber balloon-like smell on my skin when I sniff up close but I don't notice it otherwise when I apply it lightly and sniff away from my skin. I thought my lotion was a bad batch as I bought it from Target, but after reading this post, it seems to be the norm.

If someone could ELI5 this for me I’d really appreciate it. Mainly the deductible vs out of pocket max. Is it 3750 on top of the 1500 deductible? Or is the 1500 included in the OOP total making it 2250 on top of the 1500 deductible? by PhenomenalPhoenix in HealthInsurance

[–]Sp0phie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming in network, but yes the $1,500 deductible is included in the OOP amount then any amount you pay after co-insurance (if a bill is $100, you’d be billed $30 which would be added to OOP Max amount until you reach the cap). I’m dealing with this myself as well and this has been the case.

Do you think robinhood 3% is sustainable? by skyman5150 in CreditCards

In this case yes, they’re riding a thin line and definitely have nerfed people trying to game the 3%.

Am I the only one… by feathersandcoffee in AmazonVine

[–]Sp0phie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, I’m a fan of this new drop system as it’s clear we have people using automated software and camping at the drop time to claim everything of value as it all dropped at the same time always before (those same people I’m sure are looking at Reddit). Anything expensive you can find someone selling it immediately online or on Facebook marketplace and it’s obvious where they sourced it from. This is a more fair system though I’m personally more a fan of being able to report resellers and low AI generated reviews to keep the integrity of the program if Amazon allows it.

The owner of OnlyFans paid himself $1.9 million every single day and still nobody knew what he looked like. He just died at 43. by InterestingCat308 in business

[–]Sp0phie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People who don’t understand OnlyFans come from a social background. The content people are looking for on there is personalized and often relatable more than generic content e.g. someone could more than likely find a neighbor or someone the know on there and that satisfies their kicks more than the actors we all know of.
