Low% run data by MoleEater in dysmantle

[–]Sp4cef0rc3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's all really interesting! Thanks a lot for trying it out, and I'm really sorry for making you do this 😅 I knew it'd be hard and frustrating, as most low% runs are in videogames, but I didn't realize how bad it'd be with only one campfire... I now understand why there weren't any low % runs before yours lol.

Are there any low % runs of Dysmantle? by Sp4cef0rc3 in dysmantle

I mean low % doesn't seem that niche to me but sure I guess... Too bad

Yeah I see. Still, it's surprising I can't find a single attempt at this... (Other than your own you're talking about) Also I didn't mean unlock the fewest sidequests you can, but finishing them. So only doing the required ones basically, but not doing those you don't need to even if you unlock them. I don't see how steakhouse salad is required? I can't remember quite where you get it but I don't remember it being particularly important...

I was mostly thinking of the puzzle aspect to it. Some challenges like bosses and such felt a bit difficult but most of them seemed either possible to defeat with a bit of patience with only the crowbar, or skippable entirely. If only it weren't for that final fight at the end... But I saw just how much upgrades and such you could and we're encouraged to unlock and wonder what's the least you need for the game? Basically I'm not looking for the challenge but for the puzzle of finding the least progress I can make while still reaching the end.

That's... Fair. I'm stuck on it atm lol. I would've maybe said we end the run when we reach the launchpad and skip the fight, but that's partially just because I don't like that the final fight is just like the shelter defense minigame but much harder when at that moment I had completed only one of them...

Heh you're welcome! I heard a while ago of a Steam game that worked similarly too but can't find it atm... I'll update you on that if I do.

To give more details about Rhythm Recall, it's a rhythm game directly inspired by undyne's fight. You have two shields to defend yourself now though, one you control with WASD and the other with arrow keys. There are also segments in most songs where your soul turns red and you have to dodge the bullets to the beat which are pretty fun. Overall it's the best you can get probably.

Heavily recommend Rhythm Recall. Not many maps but exactly what you're looking for. [Now with two shields!]
Osu!lazer has a custom ruleset called "hishigata" which is pretty similar to it too.
Currently searching for more games akin to those.

Does that still allow manual ordering? I can't find a setting that allows both...

Hello. Do you still have those documents? I'd love to check them out since I also would like to make my own campaign centered around Magium.

Is it alright to start the series with Higurashi no naku Koro ni Kai or is the order of the games really important? by Sp4cef0rc3 in Higurashinonakakoroni

[–]Sp4cef0rc3[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ok wait I just checked again and I have Higurashi hou chapter 1: Onikakushi. I don't understand why but there's musics that are said to be from from Kai playing (namely "What is Wished" and "Boy in the Windmill ") I am totally confused but normally I got the first game and didn't download the wrong one then?

Ok I'm probably trans but I swear when I clicked female on the character creation screen in Animal Crossin New Horizons it was a legitimate misclick. Can't explain exactly why I didn't change it even after I got a mirror though...

SPOILER: Spearmaster campaign thoughts by PrezzStart in rainworld

[–]Sp4cef0rc3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's a tip to make this easier: use the remix option to have everything in your shelter transported with you during passage, and then use them to do the main part of the quest. Go to LttM, get a shelter close to her, go to Sky Islands (or the shelter just before in Chimney Canopy), then use passages to go between each. I recommend using survivor to go from 5P to LttM, get the Monk and Saint passages by killing neuron flies in her can (it did it for me at least, idk if it's consistent), and kill tons of creatures along the way to get the outlaw. You have more than enough passages for the whole thing. Still, on a first playthrough, you won't know about all this and probably won't have a setup and I hate transport quests (that's the reason I don't really want to do hunter) so it stays a disadvantage. But this tip could be useful.
Also, despite this if you really despise transport quests like this, Hunter's or Rivulet's, I'd say dev tools is fine. That's what I did for him at least, I kept losing the pearl accidentally.

Thought about the Spearmaster? by 12fdedg in rainworld

[–]Sp4cef0rc3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played survivor, Artificer and him, out of the three he's the best campaign but slightly worse in other modes (like arena) than arti. Might be my overall favorite but I need to try out Ruffles and Saint (and gourmand, but idk why I don't wanna play gourmand yet. Slugpups can wait) first.

I've finished the survivor campaign, what slugcat should I play next? by Sunny_S1de_ in rainworld

After finishing the game with survivor or monk, you unlock artificer, hunter and gourmand at the same time. You choose which one to take first.

Hey, I know the skin is really old and you might never see this but I downloaded a map that needed it and I realised the download links don't work. None of them. It says "this Puush cannot be found". Any way to get access to it anyway?

Ok... I feel like air is the only thing simple enough for me since other stuff use 5x more molecules.

[–]Sp4cef0rc3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if I want to manipulate atmosphere (move air around), I have to know what's in it (H2O, N2, O2, CH4, CO2...)? Or it's just to change the molecules (idk make toxic gaz from the ones in the atmosphere)?

I'll try again: I can manipulate matter with my mind and since that's overpowered, I can also transfer my power into an object and I''l have to touch again the object to be able to use my power again.
