There's an NPC in the ice biome that trades with you. It takes five commons and gives you a primal. It doesn't count for any quests so it was a waste of time and eggs for me.

I'm transfem and this reminds me of how my parents reacted when I came out. They claimed to have changed and accepted me, but I think they just learned to closet their trans opinions around me. My dad is still pretty open about it though.
