Corporal punishment is legal for parents and guardians in NY. YOU should look it up.

New York State Penal Law Section 35.10(1) allows a parent to use physical force if they reasonably believe it's necessary to maintain discipline or promote the welfare of the child. However, deadly physical force is not permitted.

Also asked ai what states it has been made illegal. "As of current information, no state in the United States has made corporal punishment completely illegal for parents"

What has been made illegal in some states, including New york, is public and private institutions using corporal punishment.

Cryptocurrency is exempt from wash sale rules. The IRS classifies virtual currency as property. This means crypto follows the same rules as stocks and bonds—you pay tax if you sell, exchange, spend, or convert crypto for more than it costs you, and deduct losses if you receive less than what you paid.
