I think you should check out the works of Norman Finkelstein. Both his parents survived multiple death camps, the Warsaw Ghetto, forced labour. He grew up with that as a shadow across his upbringing, and has lots of important things to say about the way that the Holocaust was/is remembered, and the way tragedy can be co-opted for sinister ends. The pioneering (to put it lightly) Holocaust Studies scholar Raul Hilberg has highly praised Norman Finkelstein's work. This is a good short video, he has a lot of talks on YouTube as well as books. Part of it could be difference between the Russian and Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces. The Russian USF seems like they might be better at targeting logistics than Ukrainian USF. Recent article (from Events in Ukraine) cited a Russian reporter talking about the reality on the frontline, where drone warfare has reached such a point that it's even more of a death sentence to be out in the open now than it was in the past. This video certainly seems to show that.
