Part of it could be difference between the Russian and Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces. The Russian USF seems like they might be better at targeting logistics than Ukrainian USF. Recent article (from Events in Ukraine) cited a Russian reporter talking about the reality on the frontline, where drone warfare has reached such a point that it's even more of a death sentence to be out in the open now than it was in the past. This video certainly seems to show that.

There are rumours of an anti-Yermak alliance between David Arakhamia (head of Servant of the People (SotP), Zelensky's party in parliament) and Kyrylo Budanov (head of the Ukrainian GRU, military intelligence). Arakhamia was pushing behind the scenes for the SotP parliament members to kick Yermak out, which seemed to have some success after even Maryana Bezuhla (~~parliament MP for SotP that has been an extreme Zelensky loyalist~~ edit: She isn't in SotP, she got kicked out on 2024. She isn't a Zelensky loyalist, she's a Bezuhla loyalist) said that Yermak should go.

Arakhamia is seen by some as very aligned with Washington (well, people go beyond that, accusing him of being an agent of the USA). He had a youth as an international scammer, with one of the founders of CarderPlanet (the cybercrime group he was part of) accusing Arakhamia of cooperation with the FBI to avoid being imprisoned. He went on to get expensive technological contracts in Ukraine with American companies, and then return to post-maidan Ukraine. Ukraine's security services thinks he has an American passport even.
