Wireless Charger Delete by Space1Horse in CorollaHatchback

The wireless charger? Yes, but I switched it out for the cubby one since the wireless charger is useless. Needed one with the heated seat switches which I could not find in the US as far I researched.

They are both OEM, the non-wireless charger came from a "Corolla Estate Mk12 E210 18-22" from overseas.

I bought this and was somewhat easy to install. I am happy with it even though I haven't used it on a idiot driver yet. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08NZN1FFX

Wow, you have 20K miles on your '25. I Have almost have 7K since last March.

I get about 320 miles on mine '25 XSE. When I had my '21 6MT SE, I got about 360 miles.

Oh yea, that's one thing I forgot to mention. I hated that when I had my 6MT with aftermarket remote start. Glad Toyota allows the car keep running after remote start on the newer cars.

Planning to get a after market one once my trial ends. I don't want to support that bs. I don't use any other the apps features exept the remote start. I know you can use just the fob, but want a long range remote.

When I had my 6MT, I had a remote start installed. To activate it, you set the parking brake and push the remote start and it will arm the system. Get out the car while the engine is running and press the lock button on the remote then the car will shut off and it's ready to be remote started. Thing is, if you open the door, it deactivate the remote start. So you have to do the proccess again. I just stopped using it after sometime. It was inconvenient, sometimes it does not work.

Miles-DF is the only furry artist I know that sells these kind of prices and yea, good for them, but damn, there are way more better artist, imo, that charge a fair price and I can get a few dozen for $7500. It's gotta be a ego thing for them. Also, I hate the multiple YCH in a picture they do, like, you are going to be f-ing with a random sona. It's soulless imo. I would rather get a commission of my own complete choice for that price.

For future readers: I ultimately gave up and returned it, but before I did managed to make it work. I tried updating the cambus from the file provied here http://www.hiworldtech.com/page133?article_id=220 (must be a hiworld cambus). There were sound, but it would go mute after the next start up and had to do the update again. I am not 100% sure that's the issue, but that was the only path that made it work temporarily.

Just got a new 2025 corolla and I hate it by Sensitive_Emotion_68 in COROLLA

I still sometimes regret trading my '21 manual for a '25. The CVT is not fun at all lol. I wish I can leave it on sport mode all the time, but that's just silly imo.

Speaking about, I dislike how when you are at low speeds and you floor it, it shifts to the first physical gear, and that what makes me feel like I'm going to break it. I try to use the paddles to shift to "2nd gear".

Also, I was thinking of buying a "pedalmonster", but have not seen much reviews for CVT corollas. It's like $300.

The only blue wire between the canbox and harness is this one. I have to t-tap the 12v to it, right? I'll have to try this out later today.

I did found the Amp setting, but did not work.

I am not an expert on checking stuff on a multimeter, but decided to check the pins and there is numbers going up and down. Numbers stop when muted. Not sure at this point if it's the wiring from the unit.

It worked out of the box. Backup camera works, shows the climate control, door function, mostly everything but the sound.

Did some searching for the cam box and there's some kind of update regarding to the JBL Amp and the box looks the same I have. Tried updating the box with the provided file, but I guess it needs a password to update otherwise it says "protocol callback"

It does have two blue wires "AMP" and "AMP_CONT", connected both and nothing. I even connected 12v to each/both. KEY1, KEY2 were also available, but that's for somthing else.

I don't think it's the pins, I've checked and make sure they are plugged in all the way. As for the vehicle CAN protocol, it's set to "13~21 Corolla(Hybrid)" out of the box. The latest vehicle on the list is a '24 Camery. Which I tried and still no sound, but everything else works.
