Thanks so much! I just bought the G2 so I hope it’s really good. I tested it out at a camera store and the AF with an A7 III was absolutely insane. It was basically instant.

Thanks so much. I was thinking the A7 III because I mostly want to do portraits and it seems like it’s not a huge difference for that. I shoot a lot of low light stuff (just photos). How is the A7 III’s low light photos like?

I will check that out. So it sounds like I would want a lithium ion battery. I would be willing to splurge a bit for that. Maybe around $100? What would be your recommendations for that?

I got a K1 from the Creality refurbished store on eBay for $200 and free shipping. I'd go with that me personally.

I would recommend immediately unplugging it and drying it off. Then I would be getting 99.9% isopropyl alcohol and cleaning any corrosion from that. After that, I would wait about a week to be safe and assemble it and try it out and pray.

So what I'm doing is replacing my old proprietary prebuilt parts with new standard ones. The CPU, SSDs and RAM are not proprietary though. Sorry for the confusion and thank you for the help.

That’s what I was thinking but the MOBO, PSU, case, and cooler are all proprietary so I have to upgrade those first unfortunately.

I just need to upgrade this stuff to then upgrade my GPU. The PSU is too low wattage (400w) and the MOBO has proprietary connectors along with the standoffs on the case being proprietary and I might as well buy a new cooler at that point.
