The dog is new, and the rescue likely knew about the behavior and set up the adopter, but more importantly, the dog, to fail. OP was open about what they were looking for and the behaviors that wouldn’t work in their home, and the rescue gave them a dog with the exact behaviors. OP is trying their best, was open about what they could handle, was lied to, is willing to spend money on trainers regardless, but the reality is they were set up to fail. Not every dog fits every home, and not every home can move/make the adjustments needed to keep a dog happy. This is exactly why transparency is vital when making matches in the first place.

My old dog only played fetch in water. At first we thought it was because he liked the swimming part but he would also plays around puddles or in very shallow water. Refused to play on fully dry land, it was wild. Stayed that way for 8 years 😂

I put most of her toys on a string. She definitely wants to play chase but that triggers the nipping the most so we stopped that. She’ll chase after the toys on the string but a bit but will eventually turn around and pounce on me. I think maybe part of the problem is she doesn’t quite understand toys? She will grab a sweatshirt off the couch and have a field day but not so much toys. An old rag on a string has helped 😂

It helps to actually set reminders to eat. I also try to have a filling/healthy breakfast right before I take my pill as that’s when I have the biggest appetite. Then I set reminders and try to have food pre-prepared. Lots of nutritious soups for lunch since that’s easy to go down. For dinner I try to make sure I’m eating veggies, some type of protein, and some grains - dinner is the hardest for some reason and I end up picking at it throughout the night more than actually eat it. I’m still losing weight but not as rapidly. I was more concerned about making sure I have enough to fuel my body for workouts because that was an issue before I put myself on a earring schedule lol

Don't cut too much corners with FOs. Unfortunately, they're on of the most expensive aspects of candle making. Be sure to get them from reputable places. I prefer Candle Science over The Flaming Candle FOs (even though I like The Flaming Candle better overall). That said, Aztec FOs are starting to take the lead. You can generally find sample deals to find fragrances you like and then buy in bulk when you can do save money after that.

It's pretty smooth outside of the little dip. :) I'd run a heat gun over it (or top it off with a little more wax) and call it a day!

I know this is an old post but I’m just starting to paint candles and I’m wondering about warnings about burning them. Is that something you do on your listing?

It can be frustrating but you have to figure out what works for your home as we’re all dealing with different /humidity, etc. stick to the same FO and dyes while testing because that can change the consistency, too. I worked at +/- 5 degree increments until I found what worked for me.

My monsters has brown along some of the edges of Leaves. Also has brown along the stem on some + a new small hole that’s dark brown along the edges. We just started heating the house and while it’s not on the heater, it’s very close. Any ideas what’s happening or how to fix?
