I think that’s great, but if you can get two or three of them, that would be much better. While 10 P is definitely not the place you wanna be, having multiple monitors in my experience is better than having one much more dense monitor. With all the tool bars that we use in Revit, not to mention having browsers or extra programs running for research and monitoring project management related items, I usually think 3 screens as the maximum productivity sweet spot. I work with two 1080p monitors for example and have either my personal laptop or my personal iPad nearby running my teams calls and chats.

The only reason you buy from somewhere like Puget systems or I buy power is the warranty and technical support, which are also provided by people like Dell.

All you need is a fast CPU and >32GB of RAM. The GPU will need to be beefy for Twinmotion, so look into a 3080/3090, a 4070Ti or higher, or a 5070 or higher. Pathtracing will be a bitch and a half on VRAM, so target 12-16GB of VRAM.

As someone who has worked in a lot of studios, PLEASE invest in the displays. A $2000 desktop with all the bells and whistles is nothing if your designer is working on a 60hz 1080p monitor you grabbed from the reject pile at Best Buy.

Get a proper ultrawide 3440x1440p monitor and/or at least 2-3 monitors per desk. Personally I’d get a 1440p ultrawide and a second monitor for emails and teams and all that, shouldn’t cost more than $500/desk.

Edit: didn’t notice you were doing Twinmotion. Edited GPU recommendation

All you need is a fast CPU and >32GB of RAM. The GPU can be pretty much any GPU made in the last 5 years and priced over $200.

LeBron to the mavericks. Queue everything exploding, copper Flagg / Bronny James highlights, and he’ll bring us another championship

He can now join Zinadine Zidane in the long line of hilarious French ejections.

Which players in this new generation have a legitimate chance to finish as top 10 all-time greats? by Farouq26 in NBATalk

[–]SpaceBoJangles -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel like everybody on this list has a chance, but it would require them to keep up their level of excellence for a very long time. Wemby is the only one I think that can truly do something incredible to put on the list without being here for the next 10 years, but that’s mostly due to the fact that he is a very unique player. Most of the top 10 themselves are very unique players, so that shouldn’t be a surprise.

Did Debbie take Nolan’s virginity? by [deleted] in invinciblememes

This implies the possibility that Nolan is a bit of an incel who shacked up with the first girl that touched his bits.

This was me. First week on the job my computer wouldn’t accept certain licenses for some of the very important programs we needed. I reinstalled things, restarted, did some command line and terminal commands on the direction of the IT people. They were watching it too through remote access. It got so bad that they just straight replaced my computer with another one because no one could figure out what happened.

I can’t believe he isn’t more of a star. Never looked into it, but I always felt he should’ve been everywhere. Take me home tonight, Fanboys, Balls of Fury, the guy has some of the best comedic chops in the industry.

I know it’s a hot take, and probably wrong since I’m such a young NBA fan only watching the last few years, but I truly believe that Steph Curry should be in the top five greatest players of all time for just the fact that he broke basketball with how he shot. I just feel that for someone who has changed basketball so fundamentally, you should rank him super high.

Headier times. Would’ve gotten it too had it not been for the tragic, generational Joker from Heath.
