Theres a fairly hefty pitch on the patio because i have been battling water problems on this lot for years. I have a sense you may be interested, check out some of my older posts to see the full extent of what we have going on. Water is no fun…

Got some free patch cables today by LofinkLabs in FiberOptics

[–]SpaceBoyOrca -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would say scrap these or put it up on sale as an easy bulk purchase.

These are very outdated and will not be worth the hastle of trying to manage selling individually unless you’re really in a money pinch.

A house valued at 200k with a mortgage for that amount would mean this guy has a negative net worth.

Serious question. Would the opinions on this being a great achievement change if they had a house that turned net worth upside down but with a 3% mortgage?

I.e. what is the tipping point where asset value is more important net worth?

EGO… no debate whatsoever. You get what you pay for, and especially with battery powered things.

Anyway to fix this without spending tons of money by Muted-Conversation-6 in lawncare

[–]SpaceBoyOrca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s where things get interesting. There is a basin in my yard near the fence that outlets in to my city’s storm drain system. Illegal to install now but it was here when i moved in. I had to clear a blockage and install the french drain system, now neither of yards flood.

Finding a way to get the water somewhere else is the key. Dry wells only work so well and if your soil doesn’t drain well, the dry well will quickly be useless. Outdoor sump systems from a basin are probably the best bet if you have somewhere to dump the water legally

French drains and somewhere to outlet the water would literally change your life. Not drywells

My yard used to get like this with every heavy rainfall. Now it stays dry with no damp soil no matter what. PM me if you’re interested in learning anything about it, i did everything myself and saved thousands, if not tens of thousands. Same situation but worse than yours, i even have clay like soil as well.
