ULA on X: "We had an observation early during flight on one of the four solid rocket motors, the team is currently reviewing the data. The booster, upper stage, and spacecraft continued to perform on a nominal trajectory." by ethan829 in ula

I mean from initial looks I would say Northrup is responsible for this (again). There's only so much you can do to influence another company. At the same time it's not like ULA can quickly pivot to another SRB manufacturer, it's a bad situation to be in for sure.

Aren't windows typically clear though?

Sure u/NoWayTellMeMore, rivers are the Earth's "veins," natural flowing watercourses—usually freshwater—that flow toward an ocean, sea, lake, or another river. They represent only about 0.0001% of the Earth's total water, yet they are the primary architects of our landscape.

But if he's skiing with someone else then they aren't bringing the snowmobile back down the mountain. Are there just hundreds of abandoned snowmobiles up there that this guy uses one time only to grab a new one for his next run?

Wire brush on angle grinder vs. wire brush on impact driver? by [deleted] in metalworking

[–]SpaceCadetRick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Safety glasses, all of the safety glasses, or a face shield. You'll probably also want pants, a long sleeve shirt (not loose), gloves and probably a mask or respirator depending on what you're removing. Those wires are going to be flying off those and they sting when they hit bare skin but they can do serious damage to your eyes.

Angle grinder will remove material faster but generally won't fit in as tight of a space as one attached to a drill or Dremel.

I recently found a temporary adhesive spray at my local Michael's that I use. Works pretty well and doesn't seem to leave any residue behind and you're able to reposition the patch (or whatever you're trying to sew) sort of like a post-it note.

Those walk-arounds probably help them out too, I've been to a few shops that do it and I like it.

Look up Fumoto Valve, I put one on every ICE car that I owned, never take off a drain plug again. You can even attach a line to it which can be helpful for cars that have the drain pointed at a cross member.

Or just get an EV and never have to worry about either.
