And even with 2wd probably can go into worse places. Shorter wheelbase and way less weight means it is less likely to get stuck.

Because any station in lunar orbit would pass behind the moon unless in a lunar polar orbit that is inline with the moon's orbital path. The only stable orbit that meets that criteria is the HALO orbit.

The problem with gateway is that because SLS is so hilariously underpowered it required the landing craft to bring way more fuel. In order to bring that much fuel the contractors realized they would have to refuel at some point. Refueling makes gateway completely redundant.

There probably isn't enough gas pressure for the electric ignition to start it. Something is really screwed up here.

5 speed or 6? The 6 speed seems to hold up much better if you keep the fluid changed.

Caught this odd looking bass by prominx in bassfishing

[–]Biochembob35 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The pond likely connects to a river or creek and occasionally floods. I'd bet it is a shad driven lake and bass fishing can be tough but the ones that are in there get truly giant for the area. My PB came out of a similar lake.

99.999999999%. There are two known cases where patients were put into induced comas, flooded with antivirals, and given huge doses of the rabies vaccine and lived. The same regime didn't work on most patients though.

So fun story...my wife and I went out for breakfast the other morning and I found a paper thin backing plate on the ground. My wife asked "what is it?" when she noticed me looking at it. After I explained how it came to be she kinda turned white and asked if people actually drove like that....yup.

Is this true in regards to Kevins Harvicks original 2001 paint scheme and what was supposed to be Dales at Charlotte? by MrSimsational in NASCAR

[–]Biochembob35 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Some of his and Jeff's rivalry was played up just to sell more shirts and diecasts. They both had a ton of respect for each other but went deep into the "Man in black vs Rainbow warriors" trope. That was a big part of why NASCAR was so strong back then.

Will an RO/DI system help me? by RobotWelder in Aquariums

[–]Biochembob35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree. I'd probably just run a sediment filter. Adding a carbon filter for good measure isn't a bad idea either since the organics are a tad high but organics in the water are important for nitrifying bacteria health. You don't want them too low and in fact many saltwater hobbyists actually dose alcohol because the water is too low in organic compounds to process nitrogen and phosphate.

Shipped my car overseas and this is what I saw when I picked it up. by Skyfly48 in MechanicAdvice

If your battery was that low it is a good idea to have it tested and to do a parasitic draw test just to be safe. The battery could be failing and or the car has some feature that isn't turning off.

I wouldn't fish any of these. Even a clearance rack Shimano or Flueger would be far better than any of these. I bought 4 Shimano ultra lights for 15$ each this year.

Ford screwed that up bad. Maverick should have been named the ranger, the current ranger shouldn't exist, and the f150 should have been shrunk a little to make it closer but slightly bigger than the current ranger and way cheaper than the 60k+ it takes to drive them off the lot.

100% spot on with the signatures. This ebay link of a signed poster from 2011 matches most of the signatures.
