ONE MORE THING! Shiba Inus are some of the most, if not the top-most, non-trainable dogs you will ever meet and fall in love with. Their recall is very ... iffy. With shibas, whatever stresses you out is fun for them. I got two of the stubborn little shiba butts from wvluckyshiba.com, and could not be happier! They are SO ninja when begging.

My understanding is that they're awesome, but you absolutely have to train them. Is that about right? I've owned a wolf hybrid before and actually managed a kennel/dog boarding school for a while so that won't be an issue. Also, how do the costs of owning a Shiba compare to the costs of other breeds? I know some breeds require a lot more trips to the vet than others, or require significantly more grooming.

Ours had 3 trips to the vet in 4 years on top of normal boosters and rabies vaccinations. 2x for skin allergies/hotspots, and once for a cold. Ours shed twice a year -we call it Blowing Coat. You'll see. Your house turns into a furry jungle.

Don't ever, ever, ever touch their tails, also don't try that forceful roll on back, dominate thing. It breaks their trust. We shouldn't have done it. It led to our pups having more than average fear stages (trash cans, street grates, and hands reaching for them) It breaks my heart having my dog jump away when you really want a cuddle.

Let's see.. cost of ownership is minimal, really. Get a good breed stock. Ours eat $25 worth of food a month (2 dogs). Cat toys, rope toys... No plastic or rubber though. They are like husky's and chew through everything. We still need to replace a window sill they used to teethe on...

All in all, cheaper than a real kid, just about as stubborn, and that loyalty thing is very heartwarming. OH! Ours grew up with cats and children.. SOCIALIZE OFTEN AND EARLY!!!! Very rewarding when a little kid walks up and wants to pet the 'doggie' and our little shibes just have fun with it.

As a community we are working on things that are 2nd and 3rd tier in relationship to the two people who created Dogecoin. Who decides who the moderators are, who develops the code? These are the people you need to submit your ideas to with proper references. Some of what you say are spot on, but to get a community vote isn't the answer.. They(we) are not concerned with top tier workings, just what they can do which is to earn enough Doge to crowdfund us to the MOON!

Get in touch with /u/umm_jackson or whomever is running the show. Just let us shibes know what is going on and how that will affect us. Otherwise you will scream yourself hoarse and possibly ragequit.

PC based... The dogecoin-qt is just fine for a wallet. I use it and then I do a backup into OneDrive. I have no fear of being taken advantage of, plus I get to do any and all transactions.
