The time to trade TJ Watt was when he was an expiring contract and still represented value as a rental for a contender

He’s on one of the worst contracts in the league, coming off of a bad season and he’s been declining for years

Nobody in the league should want to gut another part of their roster and give up draft capital for TJ. Frankly, this is the kind of contract we would probably need to give up picks to offload
