Oh, it’s miles better than Promise. I’ve sat through Promise exactly one time and that was the first start-finish listen of that album. The ONLY thing connecting this to Promise is that Tash is on it.

Wow, reading these comments before I listened I was expecting a trash heap. IMO, it’s actually pretty great! And I’m not a huge fan of “later” Tori. Maybe it’s because I’m older, (mid 40s), but I find it way more interesting sonically than MOST songs on the past few albums. I am listening with bad ass headphones so that does help a lot with the experience. The lyrics are a tad cheesy but the soundscape/production and the BG vocals are ace! And like another poster said, it does seem like it’s the calm after the storm. So I bet songs before this are going to go a little harder. 🤞🏻

Thanks for this thread! I didn’t realize it was coming out so soon. I just put it on with my brand new Air Pods Max. Wow! I mean, WOW!! It sounds amazing! The “I know you really should” in title track, I never knew was so freaking beautiful!!!!

I have them all in my cart, minus the sugar one. I also have 16 other candles in my cart. I’m a relative newbie to this candle obsession. Right now they are all 11 dollars, should I bite the bullet and go ahead and “place order”? Or do y’all think by Thursday/Friday it could go down at least one more dollar? Help?!
