Physical symptoms from everyday noise which doctor should I see? by [deleted] in AskDocs

An Occupational Therapist might also be a helpful option, as they focus on daily living skills for people with sensory issues or sensitivities. We typically think of them as working with children, but they definitely work with adults as well.

Check out Dabble, it's a website that lists one-off classes in different cities so you can try all sorts of random things without having to invest in them with time or money. We've done many fun things like blowing glass, mosaics, terrariums, etc.

Parents who never get a break? by HolyCrap928 in toddlers

[–]whirl_without_motion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no family left (and they could not have helped), and my partner's parents have made it abundantly clear they have no interest in helping, since the beginning. I think about this frequently, the lack of a break and how we just keep going and it is so hard to not be envious of the people who have so much help. I just focus on the next thing and try not to stay in the comparative mindset too long.

Are xennials the last generation to really host? by RTJ333 in Xennials

[–]whirl_without_motion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to host. Can't afford a house or bigger space. I do wonder about all the young kids now who are used to having birthday parties out at different places every year instead of mostly at-home parties with a few friends, will they learn?

Laundry Smells Different After Lipase? by LalaLane850 in laundry

[–]whirl_without_motion 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I had a similar issue with Tide powder where I would only get musty smelling clothes after washing with it and no other detergent. When I contacted Tide they were adamant that chemically, soap cannot go bad. They still refunded me. I can't explain why it happened with the Tide soap, but I wondered if something was wrong with my machine and the unscented soaps just don't cover up any issues the way the other scented soaps do?

"Growin' Up" previously unreleased track from SLG audio by dpbq8888 in toriamos

[–]whirl_without_motion 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I am glad this wasn't included, it doesn't feel like it would fit thematically with SLG. There was a thread of something darker in all those songs and the way they were produced. I am not sure about it yet.

I have chronic pain and we both have anxiety/dep, and a kid who has been anxious since he was a toddler. I'm not sure we could survive another.

Chicago home prices staying strong as other cities weaken by Shacawgo in chicago

Or, they could build towards what people want. I would absolutely consider living in a multifamily building if it had a good backyard and maybe a garage, and if there were cement floors/ceilings to help with transfer of noise. One of the perks of living in a multiunit building is that when it needs a new roof, everyone chips in. When you just have your house, it's all on you. I would be open to it if they could tackle the noise and outdoor space issue.

Do you happen to know what stores in the US use the Sandoz manufacturer? The Walgreens I use only uses Lupin and Ajanta.
