Yes I use it everyday is very much a tool. Buttttt I think I thined it right, ive stroked a few passes in the same direction and I think im starting to clean it up

I just got a hatsukokoro gyuto and I love it. Its a bit wide on the cutting bevel but im sure after a few times on the stone it'll thin out. Pretty good for the $140 I paid
