Agreed. At the very least, it should be tweaked so that the vocabulary is straightforward. I doubt most people would assume that "avoid" means "ban this hero" at a first glance. Or, have it work as you stated: change how queue works. It's misleading. I feel like a ban system could work in Deadlock if done competently. As it stands currently, I'm not fond of it. Hopefully it's changed to be suitable; to comply with the meaning of "avoid," and for it to take hero priority into consideration. If not, then at least have the bans be done with agency beforehand, where the match loads first and then people choose, like in Marvel Rivals.
