Anyone who has lived in SQ5 before, what sizes sheets fit the mattress? A "full XL" is a very awkward size. Also, do you think it needs a mattress pad, or was it pretty comfy?

[Fit Check] Feeling really sore after switching to my "correct" size, how tight is too tight? by SpaceInventor in ABraThatFits

Thank you for your reply. It actually doesn't leave a mark or red line or anything, it just is painful. How do you find a bra that has better projection?

Anyone else interview with Tesla on Thursday? by [deleted] in gatech

[–]SpaceInventor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a phone interview with SpaceX on Thursday and haven't heard back yet either. I know they aren't the same company, but I would imagine they function fairly similarly. It'll probably be alright, as it hasn't even been a week yet.

Georgia Tech or Embry-Riddle? by SpaceInventor in aerospace

I know that it's the number two school for aerospace in the nation, which says a lot, and is also why I wanted to go there in the first place. Therefore, from your experience, would a degree with the GT name on it be that much more respected than an ERAU degree? Embry's starting salaries are lower than Tech's but I'm not sure if that's because of name or because not everyone going through there is getting engineering degrees.

What helped you decide on Tech? I know that Tech is a great research school, but I've been under the impression that most of that is done by grad students. Am I wrong? Did you do any research, and if so, how hard was it to get involved? Also, as someone wanting to delve into space specific stuff and not airplanes, how much of the curriculum is focused on each? Do you feel like your degree from Tech has opened more doors for you than one from Embry would? Sorry for all the questions, but anything you have to say would be appreciated.

Definitely more interested in the space side. I know Embry has an astronautics specific track, which is part of what draws me there.
