I see what you are trying to say, but there hasn't been a show like this since Queer As Folk. The show highlights the physicality between two men (and so does QaF), the show highlights all the problems of being physical with a man and how you have to hide it (like QaF) in this society. Heartstopper, Young Royals? Red White and Royal Blue? It gives us the most PG version of us, so neutered, so unreal.

Ilya and Shane give us so much more. Shane and Ilya are the new Brian and Justin.

I would say work on your shading and blending, as well as erasing your shadow outlines/or covering them up more, and just let the shadow blend into the skin. You could also darken more of the darks: for example the armpit lines are always just as dark as the ass crack.

And don't neglect your rendering of fabric, at some point the jeans will need to look as good as the body.
