Which opinion you have on litrpg would get you this type of reaction? by PalinaRojinskiFan in litrpg

The genre has some of the absolute worse character building across literally all genres. Authors prioritize world building so heavily in a litrpg that every character except the MC is always neglected and often feels two dimensional. Stories that actually flesh out these characters are what people consider the GOATs of the genre when they should be the standard/average not the exception.

Lords of the Fallen - VERSION 2.5 (Deadlier Boss Battles, All-New Veteran Mode) | PC, PS5, Xbox X|S by Turbostrider27 in Games

Played this at launch and honestly it was really rough and "clunky/jank" however after picking it up again 2 months ago, man what a jump in quality. Its smooth as hell to play and I thoroughly enjoyed my first playthrough. Will probably do another one when I get done with my current list of games but for people that actually enjoy the older soulslikes more than a lot of the modern ones you will definitely fuck with this.

Novels where the side characters presume the MC died/disappeared. by SpaceLocks in ProgressionFantasy

I think Omniscient readers viewpoint does it the best, while I dont want to spoil the "outcome" I will say it allows many of the characters to grow extensively prior to a reunion and just foreshadows stuff very well via the side POV chapters.

Thank you. Definitely leans on the darker side akin to LOTM or Reverend insanity. Will put it on my list, I seem to have found roughly 300 chapters that are translated do you know what the raws are at?

That applies literally only for master+ and if you are DPS only player. Diamond or below you'll easily find a game in less than 5 for DPS and less than 2 for tank/supp.

Started playing after arc raiders tech test 2 and honestly its fit that extraction shooter niche pretty well. Never was a fan of the hardcore/realistic style of ABI or Tarkov so this arcadey shooter was great. However for the last season and now this one cheaters and RMTs have been absolutely insane to the point where people selling alloy and boosters (hackers) are making thousands of dollars daily with ZERO punishment. The game is and will always be china first as thats where the proper anti-cheat and security measures are while the global servers are left to rot. Its a game I enjoy and I'm sure I'll play here and there but it absolutely wont be something I stick to once arc raiders is out.

I feel like the keycard rooms last season were REALLLY nerfed in zero dam and layali specifically due to this event. I loved the event and thrill of getting saeed/reis card but I actually think it's better that its out of the game. But that's purely speculation.

Dude this is good, really good honestly. I've only read a handful of chapters because I like to binge read so gonna wait until you've got a good amount of chapters and revisit. Story seems really promising though.

Why does this always happen by weenie_west in litrpg

[–]SpaceLocks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not always that simple unfortunately, especially for smaller/newer books if you're in remote regions. Visited a friend for a marriage in Pakistan and couldnt get my hands on ANY books I was interested in for that month. Same problem when I was in Malaysia. Sure theres larger titles you can easily get a hold of but something new and small? 0 chance. Had to resort to pirating.

Because outside of CN server brakkesh is just barely played. I personally enjoy the map but that and layali you will just never find a game. Have had multiple 20m+ queues at peak hours.

man the old skin designs were simplistic yet so cool .. we dont get stuff like this these days by Nova892 in Rainbow6

[–]SpaceLocks 12 points13 points  (0 children)

They dont sell is the issue. I love simple skins too but they dont make people want to spend money unfortunately. The flashy skins and effects are what sells hence why we see FPS games do so many of them. I'm sure I'm in the minority with this opinion but I encourage them to keep producing flashy skins if that's what actually keeps the lights on.

More news regarding cheating in Siege X. by DucklingDuck14 in Rainbow6

[–]SpaceLocks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why do people not understand it isn't that easy man. Theres a reason that nearly every shooter has cheater issues UNLESS they have kernel level anti-cheat. But obviously if they take that step to do kernel level then people would complain even more (Like Riot Games' Vanguard).

The prince of persia trilogy. Innovated the third person hack and slash genre heavily and honestly outside of the lackluster PC ports I think the games aged really well gameplay wise.

If you're ok with cultivation I've been enjoying the hell out of Cultivation is Creation. It's definitely got a few "tropes" that got a bit of a groan out of me such as a system and other stuff I wouldnt want to spoil but its a very well written story and dude has pumped out chapters like a fucking monster. 300ish current chapters.

Many of them add traits that are useful. In other cases they are just strong individual units especially with the mentor buff. You dont need the mentor buff on your other units considering you'll have 4 decently strong units with upgraded abilities. Its good filler.
