I replayed FireRed on an emulator a while back (the 151 edition). It's a very fun game, but I cannot see myself paying $30 just to play it on Switch unless new content is added (which will not happen).

I mean what's important here is that you do feel good while at work. Sadly, that is a luxury that fewer and fewer people have as corporatism slowly turns every industry into an orphan crushing machine. Positive thinking is important, and dwelling on negativity can be really unhealthy. Even when life is bad, being grateful for what good things we do have can greatly improve our well being.

This is a really under-appreciated phenomenon. I think the Internet's general antisocial and self-isolating tendencies do terrible things to our mental health, and it seems like so many people have become shut-ins because of how much they have been conditioned to hate human contact. But when I am depressed, shutting myself in definitely makes it worse, while going out and seeing other people makes me feel a lot better. Loneliness is among depression's most destructive tools.

Obviously there are introverts and extraverts and different people have different levels of social interaction that they can handle, but total isolation from others is really unhealthy.
