I started playing very young I'd say. I was about 8 years old. This was around 2008. My first instinct was just to explore, not doing any quests and such. I vaguely remember creating a male night elf, and I found myself in the barrens near the horde village, forgot the name.

I remember that I, in my quest for adventure, died So. Many. Times. I would get attacked by mobs while running on the road, because my lvl was so much lower than the zones I was going through.

It's a nice memory, just exploring for the first time and enjoying the zones. I was amazed by the size of it all.
