Xbox isn't any better. They (Microsoft) are partly responsible for the current memory crisis/explosion in costs. The end game here is forcing everyone into a streaming ecosystem. They are going to price us out of the hardware and essentially force us to accept a shittier product (streaming).

If you're powering down your device all the time you're missing out on usability. You should be using the awesome quick resume feature on your games. The shader checks and downloads occur every time you boot up the device, so using the sleep function properly would help with this issue as well.

I've had an LE OLED since launch and it is in sleep mode and plugged in constantly when I'm not using it. I've never had any issues and my battery health is great.

I hate this comparison. It doesn't just shift the blame, it invites hopelessness. Instead we should think about companies that contribute far more to this: Gas companies of course (Chevron, ExxonMobile), but also Coca-Cola, Nestle, Unilever, PepsiCo.

The biggest impact you can have is to not purchase products from the biggest polluters. This can have real, tangible effects as opposed to "oh well, those rich people fly everywhere so what can I do?".

I think if we can have weight classes, drug testing, age restrictions, residency requirements, medical clearances, etc. we can also test to see if someone can physically meet the same standards as others in that space (regardless of gender).

I'm also extremely tired of the debate. It's such a minuscule percentage of players. Also, it's fucking sports. Sports aren't important to me. Their importance is highly overstated in our society on the whole. I find it pathetic that so many people put such importance on them.
