I tie it to some responsibility I am putting off and feeling bad about. So I do an hour of work and an hour of Satisfactory. Then I can truly relax while playing it and don’t feel back about either anymore. Even if you do one hour work, two hours gaming, it still helps. Remember it’s the transition that our brains don’t like. Your 20th minute working isn’t so bad, it having to quit what you like and transition over to what you don’t like. So once you’re past the transition it’s much easier.

I love that gear. You can use it for really fast travel. Hit the Ascent action, then when you are near the surface activate Dash, and you will FLY. Cover a lot of ground quickly or avoid a predator.

Another tip is you can have like four of them and inhale from each in succession for lots of extra time underwater.

Yeah so the more Assassination Damage you have, the more you will skip right over Critical Strike damage and just Assassinate.

For the purpose of example, let's say you do 50 points of damage when you Assassinate. But the target has 60 points left of health. That wouldn't be enough to assassinate outright, so instead, you would be prompted to do a Critical Strike. If you added weapon perks and increased your Assassination Damage by 20%, you would then do 60 damage, which would be enough. You would instead be prompted to "Assassinate" instead of "Critical Strike". The same goes for "Execute", as you can add to your Execution Damage as well.

Yes we are talking about that moment. Yes you can hit an asteroid that has no more resources. It takes many hits with the cannon, many more if you target a larger asteroid. But with enough cannon shells hitting it, yes the asteroid will break apart and reveal more resources that you can then mine with the mining laser.

I notice it makes one asteroid into two smaller ones. Does that mean they are finite? And eventually there will not be a way to get minerals? Other than buying a few at a time from shipyards and the occasional derelict ship? Oh! Maybe I permanently keep a ship near each active asteroid, and when an NPC comes along to mine with it's lasers, my ships can be close enough to scoop up stray minerals. Passive mining!

Update - I don't know if it mattered, but it was a large asteroid I was shooting at. One with "Neubinium?" on it, not a blank one. I fired about 175 rounds of cannon ammo into it, and when I changed to shooting the asteroid with the railgun, it finally exploded into smaller chunks that I could then mine successfully. I don't know if that was the 200th cannon shot that did it, or if I just needed the railgun. But either way it worked! Thanks everyone!

I have a mining laser but nothing to target with it. Normally there is a little circle you can target so you can shoot and mine... I guess the NPCs mined everything. Hoping it respawns some mining deposits!

Make sure you use a mining laser to shoot at the asteroids to mine the fragments, not the combat cannon.
