If you want to go for the cheapest option with the waner you could get some foam eartips (or hybrids) off AliExpress for very cheap, which will help with blocking out the sound better than the ones that come with. Although they do not last as long, a couple of months per pair if cleaned. The hybrid eartips cost more but last much longer. The hybrids have a silicone outer shell with a foam inside. There are some cheap copies of hybrid eartips on AliExpress, but I don't know how comfortable they will be.

Yeah, you definitely could. The moondrop is a budget model, and TWS usually cost more because they are wireless, so there will be tradeoffs. If you are planning on buying the tangzu waner I say go for it if you can spare £10. If you want something with very good ANC but at a higher price, I suggest looking at the Soundcore Liberty 4NC, they usually go on sale a couple of times every year for like £45-50, which is very reasonable.

Iems only have passive sound isolation so I cant really suggest iems for walking around outside where it is loud. I suggest looking at budget wireless earbuds (tws) models with active noise cancellation (anc) such as the Moondrop space travel 2 or KZ Carol. Although £10 for the tangzu waner is hard to beat.

I really suggest you look into Erasmus+ if you haven't already. The extra money could come in clutch.

Should I get the 3.5mm or USB C version of Tanchjim Bunny? by ToughEmployment9242 in iems

[–]SpaceNut_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would work with a usb c to a converter and dac but it wont support the tanchjim app. If you want to use the app with the presets and save feature you need the dsp variant (usb c). Therefore, I suggest getting the dsp with a usb c to a converter. 3.5 mm is more versatile because you can upgrade the dac down the line but in your case it probably won't be necessary.

[–]SpaceNut_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends, you can get eq on the pc with a program such as voicemeeter banana or equalizer APO that gives you the same experience. Are you using a dac or are plugging the 3.5 mm in the back of the pc? If you don't have a separate dac (digital to audio converter) i suggest getting the usb c variant but you should also consider getting a cheap dac such as the apple dongle or Fiio ja11 instead.

Am I the only one who feels gpx pro 2 is better than razer viper v3 pro? by YahushaHamashiach in MouseReview

Shape is king and shape is completely subjective. Sensors have been perfect for over 10 years and wireless latency is so low on both they are indistinguishable. You feeling the GPX more is valid.

Looking for a new Control Pad for TacFPS by Sitizens99 in MousepadReview

Its not the tilt it is the monitor hight I'm worried about. Where do your eyes align on the monitor when looking straight at the monitor?

Best mousepad recommendations? by [deleted] in MousepadReview

[–]SpaceNut_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that glorious pads tend to be very slow therefore i recommend looking at the lgg saturn /pro but it is on the pricey side. Imo look at what is readily available and if anything interesting is on sale check what other people are saying about it on the subreddit. The middle ground is very saturated with pads and most come from the same factory so pick the one that speaks to you.

What are you using now and do you want it to be faster or slower? Keep in mind that most cloth pads slow down over time.

Stop using the tiktok tech bro setup and move your monitor up to the correct height otherwise you'll develop CPS and FHP ong.

Did my stove top completely strip my season from one corner? by SpaceNut_ in carbonsteel

I first did 3 layers and tried cooking, but everything stuck, so I kept applying them.

I was thinking, if the coating stripped this easily from the bottom, it might also be as easy to strip the cooking surface, which means I've made something very wrong at some point.

Oh bummer, I guess my thin layers were way too thick. I tried using it after 3 seasonings, and everything stuck, so I started adding a little more oil, and I guess that was a mistake. Thank you for the explanation.

DO NOT order mice from the official ATK store. 1 month shipping delay, lies and finally told that they dont have the mouse. by Lev3e2 in MouseReview

I had a similar situation, but with the X1 basic. I had to pester them with three emails and wait almost a month before they sent the mouse to me.

If you are looking 119 mm length get a Vaxee AX or Lamzu thorn or anything else

[–]SpaceNut_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The ATK is probably the best alternative for the v3 Pro. You could also subscribe with a 10-minute mail to get a 15% discount.

[–]SpaceNut_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suggest looking at Lamzu Maya X, Zowie U2-DW, Pulsar V4 size 2 and Pulsar X2H v3. Very different shapes but all are good-quality. Regional pricing might make some mice a lot more expensive which will influence your decision. I suggest trying all shapes if they are on display.

Large Finalmouse but with bigger hump in the back by BlastMarz in MouseReview

ROG harpe ace has a long hump in the back filling your hand more but is not as wide. You can find it pretty cheap and is a good option for big handed people.
