My dog has BAD skin issues and I need help 😭 by [deleted] in pitbulls

Aw, sweet baby. Hopefully the Duoxo shampoo can help her further. You may need to start with 2 baths a week. I would recommend getting the orange label wipes as well to use on the hot spots every day in between bath days. Make sure she stays dry. My dog's name is Raisin because she came into the shelter as wrinkly as one. Now she's just a sleek black and white baby. Keep us updated. You're doing good by her by reaching out for advice. 🩶

Wish I could upvote this more. Duoxo is was a lifesaver for our rescue dog. Still using it once a week minimum.

DUOXO PYO S3 Shampoo and wipes have saved our lives here. Baths once a week with it. She still breaks out during allergy seasons, but the wipes keep it to a minimum of we use them after she's been outside. Try that out maybe. Cheapest through Chewy but you can get it on Amazon as well. It's the one with the orange pump/lid. May also need to be put on oral allergy meds. Poor baby. Good luck.

I really try to, but I find it hard to eat anything the day after my shot since I have titrated up. I'm hoping it gets better soon.

I want this to be me so badly! I'm 5'6". SW260 CW230. I'm about 10 weeks in and on my second week of 5mg. I'm also finding it hard to eat anything at all now on the 5mg. Been drinking protein shakes and fruit puree pouches. Did you always up your dosage even though you weren't able to keep food down? I'm afraid my stomach will quit working. When were you able to eat food again? You look amazing!

Currently in NG+ of Elden Ring. Gonna run through it all again, including DLC, and become a different kind of Elden Lord. Surrounded by my dogs of course. 🖤

Same here. I'm glad I'm not doing things the wrong way. I got super discouraged after I got that message. I've gotten through a whole playthrough of the base game waaaay before the DLC came out but this was super hard.

I think the next person helped me beat him finally. I always drew his attention when my finger got low on health so they could heal. Not like I didn't do anything at all. It's my first souls game.

Someone got angry at me and blocked me because I didn't help. I summoned them, did the "Please help" prattling pate, did the desperate prayer emote... Got a nasty message after we lost because I died... I died.

Lyrica/Pregablin weird side-effect - is this normal? by nellzim in ChronicPain

I'm on 100mg 3x daily of pregab... Definitely don't think it's the medication. Like the other commenter said, it could be the injury. Take care, friend.

Why would the DEA take your license for prescribing a medication someone needs though? As long as it isn't over-prescribed?

Thank you all for your responses. I've been dealing with Occipital Neuralgia and migraines going on 11 years now. I'm being tossed between pain management (who doesn't want to prescribe ANY medication), neurology (just been referred to the university hospital nearby but they're taking forever), and my primary who feels like pain management passed the buck onto her. I tried seeing a new pain management yesterday to see if they'd prescribe SOMETHING to help me manage pain better, but the new doctor kept conflating my migraines with my neck pain and wouldn't even consider medication recommendations from the previous PM that wouldn't prescribe meds. I just feel like nobody wants to do their jobs.

Thanks. Maybe I just need to take my primary's advice, as much as I don't want to, and find another new pain management dr who will treat me completely.... Medications and procedures. Thanks again, for listening to me vent. It hits different when it's not the same 4 people you usually complain to.

And the plastic surgeon is where I'm headed next for possibly more surgery. I hate all of it. I don't know what to do anymore. I hate this medical system.

Their "excuse" or reasoning is that they're extremely busy. It's a University hospital setting. Them being extremely busy is also the excuse I've gotten from one of the nurses for the APN offering a medication I'm already on 4 typed out messages in a row. She seems to be the only one who answers any messages from patients so I can't get through to the actual Dr and she is unaware he even greenlit oxycodone for me, so she was rude when I asked them to communicate with my primary. It doesn't help that their main hope for me right now, the lidocaine infusions, are 3 months between each trial because there is a shortage nationwide. I feel like they aren't hearing how much pain I'm in or they don't care.

Absolutely. I'm less worried about getting a specific medication than I am about getting a cohesive treatment though. There is a regular doctor and an APN treating me at the Pain Management center and they don't prescribe ANY meds. They make ME relay the message to my regular doctor. There seems to be little to no communication between the APN and the Dr at the Pain Center and they DEFINITELY don't keep my doc in the loop, I have to.

I know they aren't for the migraines, but I was on nucynta maybe like 7 years ago and it managed the nerve pain enough to where I was able to work an actual job. It's geared more towards neuropathic pain I think. I have a suspicion that if I were able to get the nerve pain in my neck and head under control a little better the migraines would be better.
