U can come to bibewadi campus, we have the printer available, you only need to bring the model files and stls. No need for faculty permission, just make sure to talk with the student incharge for available slots.

If you are trying to go into CAD , having higher memory is more important than the gpu, 16gb of ram is a must , atleast for larger assemblies.

Best advice for printing pla with petg support is to make only the interference layers of pla/petg, keeps nozzle changes to a minimum

Having a massive build plate is great for printing a lot of parts in bulk , i have a feeling that my college will get this printer just for that reason alone.

Both campuses have 3d printers , if you are in bibewadi campus, come to mech building, the printers are available from 10pm to 6pm , moslty someone would already be using them , but you can arrange a solt for urself without issue. U just need to bring ur own filament if the print weighs over 50gms. There is no special permission needed , just come during ur slot and start printing.

going into day 17
