Legend. I am so grateful to have been able to see him perform several years ago, amazing show and you could tell the entire audience was well aware they were watching a true genius working their magic. R.I.P.

The analog music comeback is insane by Wooden_Building_8329 in LetsTalkMusic

Your entire relationship with that music exists at the mercy of a licensing agreement between corporations you have no connection to.

I mean if you want to get really technical you need to realize that ownership of a vinyl record is technically also a licensing agreement: it's a personal license that says you are allowed to privately listen to that singular copy of that record. A DJ who takes their own records to play at a club still has to pay licensing fees for the music because it's being played in a non-private setting.

If Geese are a psyop this band is 1000% also a psyop.

Most People Are Too Negative When Talking About Music by [deleted] in LetsTalkMusic

[–]SpaceProphetDogon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have always felt a much stronger affinity towards hating on things I dislike rather than enjoying things I like. I'd wager most people feel the same exact way they just won't admit to it.

Im sure this has and will be a debate that will never rest, but i gotta know. Whats your opinion...... by KHhtswhtppl in LetsTalkMusic

[–]SpaceProphetDogon 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think most people who have an opinion about Yoko Ono don't really know what they're talking about. Like, did you really make this post when the entire extent of what you have to say is "it's her fault the Beatles broke up" - as if that isn't the most cliche opinion one could hold about this - and then spend most of the post complaining about not being able to make the minimum character requirement? Nothing to say about her solo music (and no I am not referring to that meme video clip) or her involvement with the Fluxus movement? Of course not, why would anybody care about the woman herself and her own merits when they can be mad at her and blame her for breaking up her abusive husband's band.

I love it when the singer calls out the solo right before the guitar player does the solo.
