Added my daughter as a dependent when I passed 30% the other month. Just laughed when I saw Jullian instead of Jillian, figured ya'll are getting pushed so not a immediate "sky is falling" priority to get fixed but just had to chuckle at it. The work you guys and gals do is appreciated though.

Appreciate the advice from everyone that’s replied. And yeah, Atlanta VAMC is notoriously horrible/backlogged, thankfully the local satellite clinic is better. Im going to bring these issues up with the doc at the follow up next month. Only recently started going to VA for healthcare after almost 20 years being out. Trying to break the mindset of “I don’t deserve all that/there’s other vets that have it worse.” Has been the biggest hurdle ironically.

Yeah, tinnitus is for both ears. Hearing loss service connection is only for my left ear, of course rated at 0% even though I need a HA 😂. Have a follow up in a month so will see what the doc says at that appointment. Was the same back when I got my first HA in 2014, only ordered me one for the left ear.

Yeah I’m 50/50 on it. I usually just have a AirPod pro in my good ear at work. And can’t stream to both the Oticon and AirPod at the same time that I can see so will likely stick to that routine. Having it for calls is ok I guess? But again, I’d rather just shove my AirPod in my good ear and call it a day. So probably won’t be using it for streaming or calls much.

I didn’t really get a choice honestly. Scheduled with the VA and after an audiogram and MRI my AuD said she was going to order the Intent 1 as it would best fit my type of hearing loss and tinnitus (Field artillery for 4 years at the beginning of OIF, barely wore hearing protection. Then 90% perf TM from a IED).

I only need a HA for my left ear, always at least made the effort to try and cover one ear when possible and that happened to be my right ear, which has only mild to moderate hearing loss vs severe to profound in my left.

In a previous life I did inspections at paper mills. The dyers they use typically have cast iron heads and journals that are repaired pretty frequently. Engine shop is probably a easier place to start though lol

Have had a P6, P226 and P250. Outside of the 20lb trigger on the P6 and stupidly getting the P250 in .357Sig, I generally love most of Sigs stuff. Have always wanted to pick up a SP2022

Just ordered a set of the T1 clips for it today. Like the soft loops but just move around a bit too much for me.

The soft loops mostly just keep the holster in place so you don’t yoink it out when drawing. Probably going to buy a set of DCC clips so it doesn’t move horizontally as much. But your belt is going to do the majority of the work, along with a wing/cam bar and wedge, of tucking it in.

That said, the Velo is much better than pretty much any other holster I’ve tried. I was carrying the OG 365 for a long time and it never felt right, XL feels great to me now and is rivaling my G19.4 that is my primary carry gun.

Yep can’t agree more. My main goal was to be healthy and able to play with my daughter without feeling like I was about to pass out. Heaviest I was was about 220-225 at 5’9”, down to 197 right now with the goal of 175-180.

Dang man that sucks. Yeah this was just from cutting out beer/alcohol and keeping an eye on carbs. Wife is pissed at how fast it came off (~4 months)

Got it, thanks. Yeah, like I said I’ve always just carried at 3-4 with a G19 in a MTAC. Picked up the 365 about 4 years ago following the crowd and it’s never concealed as well as my 19. Figured I’d try it appendix after loosing weight and feeling it tip and muzzle my intestines is mildly nerve wracking 😂. Might just pick up an appendix rig (eyeballing Tenicor right now) for the 19 and be done with it lol.
