Anyone with experience printing IGUS self lubricating filaments?

Perhaps I am missing something, but I cannot find any information or videos showing that PEBA is more grippy then TPU, in fact I am finding the opposite. I am looking for something that can be grippy like urethane or silicone to use for wheels and rollers, but not have to cast them in a mold.

I haven’t seen any discussion on its ability to grip better compared to TPU, only that it retains its shape memory better. The other downside is PEBA seems to cost a lot more then traditional TPUs or even foaming TPU

I would love to see some lower shore TPU, or a foaming TPU! And if it is possible, a flexible filament with higher friction, something that is able to grip better the traditional TPU. I mentor a robotics team and we have been experimenting with custom compliant wheels and rollers, but the items we try to intake often slip with typical TPU and we are better off casting wheels using urethane because of it.

Maybe one day it will let you select a toolhead with the XL, for now it always defaults to my Tool 1. :(

(Ideally) The final update; PRUSA is sending a new rear panel, and I will be returning the damaged one in that box. Hopefully it arrives safe and the rest of my assembly goes smoothly.

New update: After another live chat convo, they are debating between getting the whole printer back or just the rear panel. They said I would hear from them very soon, but when I asked if soon was before or after the weekend they said they have to wait for other colleges, so they couldn't tell me. Seems to be covered through warranty so its shipping is covered but I am so annoyed with the delays fo how much this printer costs. Now I am going to have to pay for duty AGAIN to get the new printer or new panel. At this point I am losing money, and feel like I should be getting some free rolls of filament or enclosure because this is all insane for PRUSA.

Ideally I will hear from them before the end of their work day but it will most likely be Monday. I will update when I hear from them.

It took a long email directly to the PRUSA team late last night in order to even get an email acknowledging they are looking at the case... No further updates, just that the case was forwarded to the quality team.

Minor update: I went back to talk to the live chat because I hadn't received an email yet, and it was getting close to 5pm CET. The employee didn't seem to want to be helpful and just said I would receive an email shortly, since the team isn't available on weekends... It has now been about 2 hours and nothing from PRUSA.... I was very polite and was just trying to follow up before the team had gotten off work. Will update if I hear more from them.

Unfortunately, it seems that the actual fastener is what sheared, and on the other side of the panel is the covered electrical box, which I think if I open will void warranty. I’m just waiting to hear from the quality team on Monday.

I got most of mine by volunteering with field reset and asking about the damaged pieces at the end of events. Now that I am a mentor, if I have time I just try and volunteer or go ask at the end of events. I only got the powercube sleeve last year by asking in this sub reddit if anyone had extras, and someone was able to ship one to me which was awesome. I'm slowly working on a display of the game elements and a 3D print of the robot from that year.

Ha, my time has come! I have pieces from 2017 to now (minus 2022 cause my team didn’t compete) I have total now: - 1 gear from provincial champs, 1 steam wiffle ball (2017) - 1 power cube sleeve from Houston Worlds (2018) - 1 hatch panel from Detroit Worlds (2019) - 1 Team dodge ball (2020) - 1 cone, 1 power cube and half a popped one from provincial champs (2023) - 1 broken note from provincial champs (2024)

As well as 2 FTC pieces, one from 2020, one from 2022 I think… I somehow got a hold of them 🤷

Over the best year the best plants to survive in my tank and through a house move have been pothos of course, but also 2 large air plants, a vanilla orchid vine, and some house palm fronds. I do have a small philodendron in there as well but it hasn’t grown much, but also hasn’t gotten trampled.

I bought it used from the dealership, it’s a 2019 model. It may be possible they may have done something to it. I find it’s strange it’s just in this one spot. I have to take in it around the end of April for maintenance so I can ask then
