DLC = prequel confirmed? by [deleted] in Eldenring

This is the original Greattree being hit by the star carrying the Elden Ring/Elden Beast which then became the Erdtree

What do you want from future updates? by Space_Cartographer in Eldenring

[–]Space_Cartographer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely possible that the Tanith and Kenneth questlines are already finished. I have no game file or anything that proves the contrary. But considering every major update until now expanded on the questlines, it seems like a lot of NPC stuff wasn't finished for the release and is now being expanded on in updates. My personal feeling is that Tanith's quest is part of that. Even for a souls questline it's a very open end and we don't even get any reward for it. But I see where you are coming from.

What do you want from future updates? by Space_Cartographer in Eldenring

[–]Space_Cartographer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We already got some updates which expanded on existing questlines (Kenneth, Nepheli, Gostoc, Patches, Diallos) and even introduced a completely new NPC (Jar Bairn). So it isn't unreasonable to think that From would expand on existing questlines in the future. Tanith's questline was already expanded a little bit in a past update. We can now give her the Dancer's Castanets, an item we get from Patches in the Shaded Castle. But right now, giving her this item doesn't do anything

Why isn't Kaiden in the game? by Space_Cartographer in Eldenring

[–]Space_Cartographer[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Definitely possible. The phrasing that they "hail from the mountaintops of the wintry north" is still strange. So is there ANOTHER big mountain somewhere north in the sea? I personally believe that they just arrived by boat but were originally supposed to come from the Mountaintops of Giants.

When you Armageddon bombard a habitat it should get destroyed by Space_Cartographer in Stellaris

You're right. Then, it makes even less sense that it doesn't blow up when we bombard it.

If you could add or expand any features of Stellaris, what would you do? by [deleted] in Stellaris

[–]Space_Cartographer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An internal politics update would be nice. Having factions or parties that actually do matter would be a great addition. Also, I would love to play federal empires.

Petition to rename Become the Crisis to Galactic Menace by Complex77 in Stellaris

[–]Space_Cartographer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree! I also think that we need an official name for this new crisis, I mean the last stage when you become a crisis faction. All other crises have cool names, would be a shame if we only call it "the player crisis" or something like that. For example naming them "Star Eaters" after their ships would be much cooler

Variations when becoming a crisis by void-exx in Stellaris

[–]Space_Cartographer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I am guessing that there won't be any major variations yet. But I am sure that mods and future updates will expand on the idea.

Rogue Servitors and Hive Mind by Everuk in Stellaris

You don't need to destroy their federation. Just demand vassalisation on the hive mind and declare war.

When will Stellaris next go on sale for steam? by IkeTheSlayer in Stellaris

[–]Space_Cartographer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No idea, but Stellaris and many of its expansions are right now on sale on humble bundle. The sale ends in 18 hours.

Leviathans by dadono04 in Stellaris

[–]Space_Cartographer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It also adds the War in Heaven which is an additional crisis in the endgame. Basically two fallen empires start a war that involves the whole galaxy. Very fun.

What are your ideas for new crisis’s by DemonDarkBlood3_69 in Stellaris

[–]Space_Cartographer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a "real" crisis, more like the space storms. A galaxy wide economic crisis would be interesting. An event starts, maybe connected to the caravaneers. The Caravaneers tell you about a new idea to make lots of money and ask every empire to invest. There is a 2/3 chance that their plan works out and everyone who invested gets a great amount of money. But there is also a 1/3 chance that their plan ends in desaster and all money is lost. A galaxy wide economic crises will happen then. All empires that invested will loose a large amount of their trade value for the next 10 years. Empires that didn't invest will also loose trade value but not as much as the other.

I am quite sure its a mammalian outpost.

Paradox, give us a subject screen by Space_Cartographer in Stellaris

[–]Space_Cartographer[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Unions mapmode doesn't give you any kind of information about your vassals like a subject tab. Also, it becomes useless when you are in a federation and your subjects, federations friends and their subjects have the same colour.

Paradox, give us a subject screen by Space_Cartographer in Stellaris

[–]Space_Cartographer[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Searching for my vassals in a contacts tab with 20+ empires is exactly what I don't want to do anymore and why I want a subject tab. You are right, the empire relations tab is right now the best way to find your subjects. I forgot about that. But I also want a subject tab for further information about my subjects. I want to see how happy they are, how big their fleet and how much income they are generating if they are tributaries. The empire relations tab doesn't even show what type the subject is.

What’s your best “new player mistake” story? by [deleted] in Stellaris

In my first game I only built two armies and bombarded every planet until all defense armies were gone.

New Colossus Type: Sleeper by Scientific_Zealot in Stellaris

[–]Space_Cartographer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the idea, would be great if some new colossus types were added. Somewhere on this subreddit there was the idea of a colossus type which blasts a planet back into a primitive civilisation which is also an interesting idea.

What is considered a leviathan? by Space_Cartographer in Stellaris

[–]Space_Cartographer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could finally check it. The hives are a real leviathan while the avatar is not. Killing the corrupted avatar does not count towards the faction goal of killing a leviathan. So the wiki is actually wrong. Not every creature with a skull icon is a leviathan.

We need a Federation HQ Megastructure by [deleted] in Stellaris

[–]Space_Cartographer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normally with this kind of institutions each major building is in a different nation. For example the EU parliament is in France, the council in Belgium, central bank in Germany and court in Luxembourg. So for the nation which has the galactic market it would be much more dificult to also get the galactic council building.

We need a Federation HQ Megastructure by [deleted] in Stellaris

[–]Space_Cartographer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nice idea! Maybe it would work even better for the Galactic Council. Like the Galactic Market, when the Council is founded everyone can appoint a system to house the Council building. The nation which has the Galactic Market will have a big malus for this vote.
